I just report the news, I don't have all the details!
Seriously, I think the press book is something sent out to the media (newspapers, TV, etc.) to promote the movie. I don't think this is something available to the general public, but it probably contains stuff we've already seen.
As for the t-shirt, this is the first one I've seen. If you wait, there may be more and you may be able to catch a good deal. I got the black "Read Something Else" shirt from the UK off of ebay. If I remember right, I paid under $20, including the shipping.

What the heck is that press book? I thought it might be the movie release of the first three books but it has the C.D. cover. It said it came with a C.D. of movie stills-- is that homemade or a promotional gift designed specifically for the press? A press book is usually a glorified folder with various press releases, pre-approved synopis blurbs and camera-ready art for newspaper ads. In the good old days, they would also come with color slides of promotional photos, but now that's handled with a photo CD. If you're lucky, they'll sometimes come with a nifty promotional item of some sort (like the infamous Fargo snowglobe that was later mass-produced for the video release). It is a safe bet that every photo included in the kit is one we've seen reproduced in the media already, as that's where they get them in the first place. However, they would be much higher resolution, suitable for print. If you're interested, you can find press kits both on eBay or through movie collectables sites, stores or conventions. I used to take bunches of them after we we done promoting a film when I worked for a cable channel years ago. Most of them end up in the trash.
