In WHSmith there are some 'collectable' fridge magnets, done in the style of the Brett Helquist drawings. They cost £3.99. I was going to buy them on Saturday, but I can't because I'm going 'arcading'.

Can you get some pictures of them?
I have some ASoUE fridge magnets that include portraits of Olaf in various disguises, and a sort of magnetic-poetry thing with phrases like "dear reader", "so that everyone might know" and "what happened to Beatrice".

They sound interesting. I bet they're only available in Great Britain.

I'd trade 'em for the chance to get the newest books at the same time as America.
£3.99 for a fridge magnet? Is that expensive? I don't buy many fridge magnets... Well, any, for that matter.

I saw them in my local WH Smiths too. They looked okay, but I didn't have the money on me.

I searched for the magnets on the store's web site and found nothing. How does that price convert to US$ ?

About $7 (and 7 cents, if you wish to be precise).

Yea, that is kinda pricey. Especially if I would have to have it shipped overseas.

I'll have a look out for them next time I'm in WH Smith... Hah, pity we don't have a metal fridge... (it's built into the cupboards)

I used to have that, until we moved about a month ago.

Antenora, where did you get your fridge magnets?
And Scotty, could we have some pics, please? That is quite pricey, though...

I don't remember where I got those magnets from. They may have been one of those promo items you can get at bookstores; a friend of my parents' works at a bookstore and sometimes brings us leftover promo items. That's how I got my TCC Misfortune Telling Cards.

Unfortunately, I can't provide any pictures as my digital camera is broken. However, I can tell you that they look very much like Helquists style of drawing.
