I've still got one Talking Count Olaf Standee that was used for promotional use for The Grim Grotto last September. As you can tell, it is VERY rare and hard to come by, and I'm only asking $25.00 + shipping costs. It's about 5 feet tall, still talks, and is holding its paper pad. Last chance, just thought I'd let you guys know, as there are probably some avid memorabillia collectors out there. Just PM me for more information or if you'd like to purchase it. Thanks, have a good one. -MW74

I think it sounds really cool, and if my Olaf-crazed friend ever comes back from Florida, I MIGHT be able to raise some cash and get it for her.

Yeah, he's around five feet tall and says phrases when you walk by. It was in book stores worldwide to promote TGG last August/September.

For anyone considering buying this Olaf standee, let me just tell you that I bought one from Mr.Wonderful last year and it was a very positive deal. He did a good job communicating and packaging it for me. I just wish the postal service was a little faster. If this were ebay, I would give MrWonderful four stars.

So, Gigi, tell me: Do you set up this stand in your classroom for Unfortunate Day?

Yes I did. I don't know if you've seen one, but Olaf is holding a sign which can be used as a white board. I'm using it as my countdown. I have another one that I got from a bookstore. He's peeking out my classroom window into the hallway.

That sounds so cool! I wish there was a Count Olaf staring at me as I walked in the halls at my school. . . . .
