Ooh, that IS an awesome bookmark.
I'm surprised the bookmarks weren't ripped as part of the package. I mean, the books are made to look all old and junk... so why not rip the bookmarks!
*rips up a bookmark* Now I have two!
EDIT:
And wouldn't it be cool if there was some sort of ad campaign, like "Whoever finds the missing half of this bookmark gets the entire thing signed by Daniel Handler after it's been taped together?"
Although it would be really hard to tell who really got the missing half and who just bought a regular bookmark and ripped it in half...

That'd be cool. To solve it, there could only be one bookmark, and the missing half could be in a random copy of a random ASOUE book! ;D

I would want something more than just the autographed bookmark for winning.

Well, you get to meet Daniel Handler as he autographs the bookmark! I don't know, I was just being random.

Maybe it could be a school affair involving bookfairs. A random ASOUE book contains half of the bookmark, and whosoever finds it would have Handler come to their school!

I hope Harper-Collins reads this site and gets the idea. I would love to have Daniel Handler come to my school.

Except that'd only involve elementary schools. D:

That reminds me. A while ago, in a bookstore, I saw something which resembled an aSoUE bookmark. It was white, and had on it the cover picture from the U.K. TBB / The Trouble Begins. Although the text implied it was some World Book Day thing, it was hard to tell.

Except that'd only involve elementary schools. D: But I do teach at an elementary school. 4K to 8th grade.

Except that'd only involve elementary schools. D: But I do teach at an elementary school. 4K to 8th grade. I know. But the crazy elementary school kids always get everything. The only guest speakers we get are the ones whose children committed suicide or the ones who are athletes in disguise as motivational speakers. It's depressing. Authors need to tour middle/high schools as well.

Oh, I see. If you found out DH was going to visit an elementary school near you, would you plot to crash the event? (I would. And hopefully he'll visit the Midwest again this fall so we can go see him again. But now we're getting off topic)
Anyone out there with the soundtrack bookmark?

Heck yes even though I don't have my license yet, and it would involve cutting school.
Also, what soundtrack?
*confused*
