Or, you know, you could ignore what I just said. Whatever, if you don't mind getting strikes.

twistedbrain, your concern is admirable. The second comment was perhaps less helpful, but I appreciate the thought. snicketboy5, as twistedbrain said, double-posting is against the rules. Looking at some of your posts elsewhere, I'm going to have to PM you anyway, but everyone else should remember to read the rules.

When the series is over, I will continue to try to read between the lines and figure out the mysteries. I will continue to add my own stories to the Snicketverse as I do in The Blank Book. *Sigh* I love 667 Dark Avenue!

When book 13 is done I will finally be able to complete asoue in my cpb unless Handler come out with more stuff(Which I hope he does) My asoue summaries have taken 76 pages out of a 120 page standard notebook....

When the thirteenth book has been published... Well, I am no longer as obsessed with the series as previously. So I sha'n't be too upset. I'll undoubtedly be glad to have finished the series, after much anticipation. I'll probably read through the series a time or two, just to get the effect of reading it from beginning to end. And I'll occassionally look back upon my bookshelf, and pick up one of the books, and start reading. But I'm not one to look too deeply into things. I doubt I'll "explore the mysteries" of the series for more than a few days, a month or two at most. And then, the series shall fall into line with all the other books on my bookshelf...

Hehe. A suitable ending. I'll probably explore the last one's depths if I have time and eagerly await the day when Handler should release more(if such a date is planned when the series ends)

Are you a believer in the "there's got to be more after book 13" theory, then?
'cuz I'm not.

Not really, there may be and there may not. I hope there will be more but I also know that that might not happen. I could subscribe to either side, depends on how I'm feeling.

My problem is that I'm not even excited about the next book. I don't care now that Esme is presumably gone. I'll still stay on 667, because I highly doubt Handler will answer all of our questions. I"ll stay and continue to write several tacky Esme and Olaf getting back together fan fictions. Even when there's no one left to read them...
Hanna Squalor: Dashing across the field of bright colourful flowers they embraced listening to the sounds of the happy birds. Finaly there would be no more fire and dispair in their lives-- Lonley 667er: Uh, Hanna there's no one here....

I really want to read the last book badly. It's just I'm not excited... that made no sense. I'm not really showing how much I want to read the last book. I don't know why. When the 12th came out I showed it but I don't really seem to care for 13th. I wonder why...?

I usually don't get REAL excited until the week it comes out, then it feels like I can do NOTHING ELSE but read the book and delve into its mysteries.

The websites could be used for fan fiction. Such as, people would begin writing their own stories for what would happen to the Baudelaires and/or other characters after the series ends. Kind of like what people did with Beastmaster and other shows that aren't being aired anymore. Or... they would just stop with this obsession and move onto something else.

You know what? When the last book comes out, I'll be so happy. I might even get permission from Handler and the publisher and post the entire book on 667 Dark Avenue.
Then again, I might not. Anybody know when a first chapter will be available for The End?
