At the moment, (Friday 10/13 7PM) there are 26 guests at 667, as opposed to 8 members. Do you think people read the article and came to pay us a visit?

That is cool. I wonder how the author came across 667. And I didn't have to register.

I need to register now. I went to go see if the author had a daughter and that's how he knew of the site and it was locked. I guess I got there before they put that up.

I found the site by googling Lemony Snicket, so I guess that's probabaly how this NY Times author found it, too.

From the article: “Basically the moral of the series is that bad things happen and you should fight it and by fighting it you find out what your talent is,” said Gabe Cohn, 12, who — true confession — is this author’s son and an avid Snicket reader.
So yes, the author's son reads Snicket, and perhaps he told his mom about 667. Maybe he's a member here!
