Um, forgive me for being stupid, but can you put that in different terms? I don't quite get what kind of answer you're expecting.

In The End, there's a part at the end where there is a whole other book. Why is there one?

In my view, I thought it was just a fitting way to add on to the Baudelaire's story. The nature of it after all, was slightly different from the book before.

In The End, there's a part at the end where there is a whole other book. Why is there one? HEY GUYS WE'RE THE AUTHOR WE KNOW WHY EVERYTHING IN THE BOOKS HAPPENED. It's there because Daniel Handler wrote it that way. What answer were you expecting?

Shouldn't this thread title be clearly labeled as a spoiler?

Number one: Please, please, please, ONLY discuss anything to do with The End in the Official Discussion thread stickied at the top of the board. Plus, blatent unuse of spoiler-tagging.
Number two: The Spoiler Rules thread has been up for months. There is no reason why the rules shouldn't be followed.
No threads are permitted in The End board until Saturday, the Fourteenth. I know everyone is in different time zones, but as I read this, there are still three hours until Saturday arrives in PST. So I am locking this thread.
Locked. Please move ALL discussion into the Official Thread.
