Well it's apparent that Olaf did change majors seeing as he's an actor now.
Hm. But Ishmael said that Beatrice gave Lemony back his ring and she also wrote him that 200 page letter. She wouldn't have done those things if she just thought he was dead, she definitely broke up with him at some point.

Olaf would have had been connected to the Bauds in a good way for him to be first on the list of guardians (which has a lot of people on it, probably because they were suspecting them being endangered and even killed)
P.S. sorry dante. i know that i double-posted so I tried to fix it. But it wouldn't let me delete this all together, so I had to write something.
I was thinking, and maybe this is what happened:
Lemony was in love with beatrice and proposed. She declined snd ran away with Olaf because Lemony seemed to boring, or because she wanted revenge from when she thought Lemony was dead and she was in grief. Then they got married and then immediately divorced. Then she married Bertrand and had 3 kids with him. She and Kit were still friends, so in a way of saying sorry to Lemony, she killed Olaf's parents. Yeah. Ok. Any thoughts?

Lemony and Beatrice were definitely engaged at some point.
But I do not think they were ever married. We'd have known.
She could've have run away with Olaf but I doubt it. He seems fixed on Kit.
It's very difficult to puzzle out, and Handler sure isn't saying anything.
