Luna Lovegood is so utterly scary *shudders* It adds spice to the story! But I find it annoying how she was never mentioned before this book, you'd think that a person as prominent as that would be at least mentioned...
Of course, I still like Ron. ;D
Have you gotten to the part with Percy's letter to Ron yet? I'm reading that part now...

I haven't.
I just finished Chapter 12 and about to begin Chapter 13. Oh and Luna Lovegood -- Doesn't that name sound like it belongs to a hooker or a stripper? LOL.

Well, you'll know when you get to Percy's letter, it takes up two whole pages! And I think the name Luna Lovegood sounds like the name of a person who'd be extremely spacey... and that's what she turned out to be  |

I have finished the book after reading non-stop for two days! Months and months of waiting for two days of pure bliss... Ron- You have to love Ron, I don't know if he's changed that much... what brings you to say that, just wondering? Cho- I totally agree... argh... a real disappointment, she seemed so calm and collected in the other books... The twins were awesome, I can think of some times I'd want to use their joke products... Luna was really cool, it's just odd how she jumped into the story, with a big role, without any background or anything I was really sad when 'that person' died... only I saw it coming too... I hope there's more Tonks, Moody and Lupin  The oddest thing, though... you stop and look back on the first book and you realize what a simple, superficial-ish sort of book it is... the goals are clear, the "bad guys" and the "good guys" are more defined, and even the writing style is simpler... maybe the books are growing up with the characters... I'm very glad to have people to talk to about the book ;D, I don't want to spoil too much, so if anyone wants to send me a private message to talk about it I'd be very happy ;D |

now back on subject.
I was really suprised at how much Harry had changed. He has a huge temper, he insults everyone, and is almost always angry. Then near the end when he performs one of the unforgivable curses on someone, I can understand why, of coarse but it was still wierd. Then their was the Department of Mysteries- what was the arch thing anyway? The Hall of Prophecy was cool, and why does the Ministry have all those, brains?

I'm going through some book 5 facts that are on Mugglenet, and stumbled arcross this one:
It's very important in the plot that Harry has his mother's eyes, and that her wand was very good for charms.
Now I may have just read the book to hastily, but I don't remember anything in the book about this. And here is another fact which I didn't find anywhere in the book:
Harry's parents' profession will be a big part of the plot.
And here is another one:
Something HUGE will be revealed about Lily Potter.
