I agree about the predictable-ness factor, it did sort of seem predictable... and how almost all of the 'good guys' got injured in some way but almost all of them bounced right back.
The only thing about the eyes I remember is that Harry recognized her by them, and the only big thing I found out about her was her maiden name. It was kind of amusing, though, to see what James Potter and Severus Snape were like as teenagers, just a little bit different from what I thought before ;D
The part about 'returning to the house' confused me, I think it was the Dursley's house, where Harry would always be safe as long as he stayed in it, because of the way his adoption "sealed the spell". Am I totally wrong?
The arch thing confused me... I couldn't picture it in my mind at all. I was really depressed when "that person" couldn't become a ghost, it gave me false hope!

Ok, so I just finished. I have so much stuff to say!! but I really dont want to take up your time, making you read my stupid rants and raves. So I'll be quick.
Firstly, hurray for bringing Lockheart back for a moment. That was great! Secondly, making Ron a prefect, ingenious. Thirdly, Lupin.....I love that guy. Soooo glad hes back. Hes so great. Hurray for Lupin!! Fourhtly, Tonks, great, hope to see more of her, my new idle.
Fifthly, the whole Mr Weasley incident, nearly peed my pants I was so dang scared. If any of the Weasleys had died, I dont think I would be able to live with myself. Sixly, I was very dissapointed with the way Harry acted (for the most part) in this book. Not only was he mean to everyone, but he seemed rather high on himself. It was sad to see him act like that. Seventhly, Neville. Neville rocks!! Neville is the bomb!! He is my hero!! Eighthly, Snape. Starting to like that guy more and more. Hes really not such a bad guy, I dont think. Ninthly, she chose to kill off Sirius.........I have nothing more to say except that I am very very VERY angry at her!!!!! Well, I guess I would be, no matter who got the axe, but Im still really dissapointed that it was him. Still have that bad feeling in my gut about that part of the book. And tenthly, if she makes me wait for the next book as long as she made me wait for this book, I am going to loose my mind....well, more then I have already ;D Oh ya, eleventhly, Cho. I really dont like her. Shes not annoying or anything. But she had better back of and leave Harry to Ginny or else heads will fly....even though I dont really know how I would accomplish that.

I hate her. Well, Harry was kind of stupid too, saying like, "Oh yeah well now I gotta go meet Hermione." I mean, even Neville would realized how that sounded. I think. BTW, I loved Neville in this book. He was actually good at something. I started clapping when I read that. Snape: I always did kinda like him. Now I can amit it. Harry is not my favorite character. Yeah, I'm gonna be a big ol' hero and save Sirius. Uh huh. Sure. It's his fault, not Dumbledore's that he died. But we all know that Harry is gonna end up killing Voldermort and so forth. I loved the way Ron acted so jealous of Viktor.

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!
I read it in a total of about 14 hours and got much more than I expected. I thought it was so true to life how Harry was angry during osmeo f it, I mean if he hadn't been people would be saying he was too "Mary-Sue", you know? I found out much more than I expected. And that revelation about Lily? The big one is supposed to happen in Book 7, but we did find out she felt some sympathy for Snape even though he hated her. Percy- WHAT A JERK! Although I saw it coming miles away. Hmmm....I wouldn't be surprised if he was kssing up to You-Know-Who next.
I rate this book higher than any of the others, which I never thought was possible, but yes: GREAT JOB MS. ROWLING! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ya, it did seem like they were growing apart. That is sad. But Im sure they they're going to get the best of friends again in the next book. And I think it would be the most wonderful thing in the world if Neville got his revenge on the stupid women. Thought it'll be a shock if he kills someone.

Neville rocks, 'nuff said I think what Ms. Rowling was doing with Harry's anger was kind of making it more realistic, I mean with a teenage guy, you kind of need a little bit of temper there. It scared me half to death when she said that Dudley was more muscular now... it gives me this image of a bodybuilder in a leather jacket... not good image... not good image... Ron and Hermione really don't fight all that often, don't know why Harry blew his stack at them. Can't expect two people that age of the opposite gender... and personality... to get along all the time. Heh... sorry for going on and on... there's so much in the book to talk about!
