--there may be spoilers-- --dont read if you dont want to be spoiled-- --read if you have read OotP-- As I was looking at all the theories from Harry Potter sites, few had guessed rightly about who really died. Must had guessed Hagrid. I was really disappointed to see him go. He was a good charactor. I wonder why JKR even had to kill him. by the way, for anyone who has bought the deluxe edition, whats on the front cover of the book?  |

I would really love to see a pic of it!!!
But back to who dies, I must say that I am very VERY relieved that it was not Lupin. I would have been bawling my eyes out had it been him. But Im was very sad and dissapointed to find out it was black. His death scene was so sad. And even sadder when Luna talks to Harry after about that black vail.
And I hadnt really had my own guess as to who it might be before it came out. I guess I was just to scared to even think about it. I knew I would be mortified whoever it was. Even Draco.

 The death was...horrible. I cried for a great while, but you know I can already get inklings of why it had to be done. JKRM gave us fair warning, so please don't hate her for it. It had to be done, I mean she didn't just get up one day and think, "You know, it's time I stir things up a bit. I don't like them, i want to make them cry so I'll kill this person off." It is going to be vital to the story. I don't think a lot of people were expecting this person to die though. He wasn't even on most of the "Who do you think will get the axe" polls.

Well I wasn't surprised. But it wasn't by choice that I knew who was going to die ahead of time.  Jayk3 spoiled it for me. Made a thread with the character's name in the title and said that it was he who was going to die. I deleted the topic to spare others the spoiler. BUT I'M EFFING LIVID AT JAYK3! Well at least it wasn't my favourite character. I did like him, but not as much as most people did, I think. |

Effing livid, you had a right to be! I didn't get on any chat rooms much at all... NO ONE was going to spoil it for me... I'm really sorry you had to hear it that way.
I don't see any point in having that person die... what has it attained other than tons of people all across the globe bawling their eyes out?! Come to think of it... that's quite a bit of power once you think about it... *evil grin*

Anyway, I thought it was Hagrid too, because they asked Robbie Coltrane (the guy who played Hagrid) if he was going to stay for all of the movies. He said yes and no. So I thought Hagrid would die. I was wrong *shrug* But at first I thought he would die because he was missing for so long.  I like Hagrid. Anyway, I like the person who died more. He was cool. |

JKR killed him because she was being stupid, that's why. She said it was because in real life people die without reason. Well that's great but HP isn't in real life it's in its own world.
And yes I cried, he was the only person I really didn't want to die. Yet he did. Just makes my Harry hatrid grow.

JK killed the wrong person the only reason she killed Sirius was because she felt that she had to kill someone and wanted to make an impact and thus making Harry look stupid for not using the mirror making the book a total mess by the way anyone know when the sixth book comes out?  |
