Okay, I really have to read that book again, I didn't even notice his "change". Maybe it's just because your not a child, but in fact, an adult, is why you didn't apreciate OotP.

Well, Ron did seem a tiny bit more... passive. He was embarrassed when talking about being a keeper, he always lets Hermione do all the work, he doesn't tease anyone at all (I don't think) in the entire book, and he seems to have a little more distance than before.
