1st clue: Umbridge was toadlike.
2nd clue: Every time Umbridge was mentioned, Trevor was nowhere to be seen

Okay, who the heck has those HP insight/clue books? My friend won't let me buy it because that's my Christmas present but I peeked real quick at a few of the chapters and apparently James may actually be Lupin. Like they did some spell before James died so when James died it was really Lupin, and so really Lupin is Harry's father. And it said Trevor may actually be a person like Scabbers was.. but I didn't get a chance to look at all the reasons and stuff for this, and I won't be able to for like a month (augh, drat testing my willpower). So anyone have these books? INEEDTOKNOW. *tee hee* You had to be told your christmas presents ahead of time to keep you from buying them. ^__^ That's cute.. I never knew of these books though!! I hope that Lupin thing is false though...I don't like when authours bring back the dead...it takes the fun out for me. Also I would question James not being home to protect his wife and child.... :: goes to Amazon to find these strange books ::

Like they did some spell before James died so when James died it was really Lupin, and so really Lupin is Harry's father. I don't know if this is significant, but the first Remus was a young one in 753. He and his brother Romulus were sons of Zeus (according to legend) and their mother was another one of those who abandoned them to escape Hera's wrath. They were left in these hills on the Tiber river and suckled by a she-wolf (which is why it might be significant) until they more or less grew up at which point they built a city in those hills (Rome). Eventually, Remus was murdered by Romulus on Palatine Hill. I think it had something to do with Remus's side of the city being more prosperous, but I don't know for sure. Maybe the name was an allusion to getting killed by your brother, if you can call Prongs and Moony brothers. Not that he actually murderered him, but allowed him to die by switching bodies. On the other hand, you can't expect JKR to use historical and literary allusions the way Snicket would.

well, actually, i think she might. in an interview (somewhere in the deepest bowels of the earth now), she said that she picked out the names either because they sounded cool, or because they had meaning for the character. minerva (more commonly known in some areas as athena) was of course the goddess of wisdom, and mcgonnagol could definitely be considered wise. not by me, she has too many weak and rash moments, but i'm posotive that some people do. or i could be delirious.

Leave it to mugglenet to smash my second Harry Potter dream! First they smashed my Harry/Hermione theory, and now they smash my Lupin is James theory! Woe is me! *sulk. mope. pout.*
