Yes, I'd have to agree that'd be pretty anti-climatic. And annoying. I've never been a fan of things turning out where "Love conquers all". Meh.
It'd also really suck if she made Sirius come back somehow. I mean, I love him-he's one of my favorites-, but I don't know...it's just kind of cliche'd. I did enjoy how she made Harry discover that mirror thing at the end. You know, just sort of made me think "God, Harry, you're an odd little kid. Idiot." I mean, maybe it's just me, but I would have torn into that package as soon as possible...I haven't read that in a while, so I'm probably forgetting some important thing that prevented him from unwrapping the mirror right away... Meh.

Exactly...like if Harry was related to the Weasleys. He defeats Ol' Voldie and, because he's no longer in danger, he can leave the Dursleys and live with the Weasleys in their happy chaos forever and ever ! God, I'd hate that.

I thought that too... It was really stupid of him and Sirius. Hmm, when did he get that mirror? Cos if he did have the mirror before he started using the fires to talk to Sirius... UGH... stupid Harry. Sirius could have reminded him of it too...

Thank you, J, for deleting all your posts.
Anyway, yeah-good point, why didn't Sirius tell him? Instead of going through all that trouble, he could have just said "Hey, Harry, didn't you open that present of mine? Let's use that!"
Must have been something JK tacked on the end to add insult to injury.

Harry screwed up in every possible he could screw up. And I agree with you guys mostly except for the Sirius thing. I'm counting on him coming back. I don't think she could write his coming back worse than she did his death.
