I beleive it was TPOA. But as everyone has said here, just because they have a letter difference, it doesn't mean they have been copied. And isn't Dupin a play on words for Dupe? Just like Sham?
Now, my friend believes that JK copied LOTR as much as she could (examples: Dementers/Wraiths, Longbottom Leaf/Neville Longbottom, Sauron/Voldemort, Frodo/Harry, etc...) Actually, once I read in the paper and article titled "When Frodo met Harry" and it listed the similairities between them, such as the dark hair, how they were orphans, etc...
