On JK Rowlings offical website click the paper clips and click on 1 of the letters and click on the parchment to the side and click on FAQ poll. It says that Mark Evans is nobody. She accidently put him with Lilly's maiden name. She said she could have just as eaisily made his last name Black.

yes, we know. Im glad that Mark Evans is a nobody cauze if he was important that means he coulda been related to Harry. and Dumbledore said that the Dursleys were his only living relatives.

I always KINDA knew in my heart that he was nobody, but I was secretly hoping he'd turn out to be a long-lost brother or something. *sigh* Oh well.

I always KINDA knew in my heart that he was nobody, but I was secretly hoping he'd turn out to be a long-lost brother or something. *sigh* Oh well. I agree i didn't think she would throw something like that at us. Harry would probably notice if he would be related to him. |

You'd think Harry would have noticed that they have the same name, even if it has no significance. More proof that JKR did it on accident. *another sigh*
