That might work, but what in the world would you be doing? If you were seen terrible things would happen so you'd just have to live this weird life without being seen by anything or anyone dozens of times over, no one would choose such a life.

Exactly. Anyway, I don't think that time travel would work that way. I still say that you don't age backwards when you go back in time.

in JKR's world we'll probably never know. And I just realized we're WAY off topic. And have been for quite some time.

Oh, yeah. Sorry. We got off on a tangent since I mentioned I liked PoA because it had time-travel in it.

Just so. There was also time travel of a sort in ootp. *shrug* And in book 6 all the time turners were smashed so maybe that means no more time travel? I think book 6 is my favorite, then ootp and gof tie for 2nd.

I picked "Prisoner of Azkaban" as my favourite.
If I had to rank them from the one I liked most, to least, it would be:
1. Prisoner of Azkaban 2. Goblet of Fire
3. Half-Blood Prince 4. Sorcerer's Stone 5. Chamber of Secrets
6. Order of the Phoenix (didn't like this book)

HBP is my fav right now. The fight at Hogwarts was good, as was learning about Lord Voldemort's past.

Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix are my faves. But the first is really good too. I like the odd numbered ones apparently. I didn't like the second one for the first like 15 times I read it, but now I think I like it. It's been so long since I've read them.

You read a book that you didn't like 15 times? It's been awhile since I reread HP, I'm rereading snatches of hbp now. I've got so much other stuff to read though.

Sorcerer's Stone- too short, JK didn't find herself yet Chamber of Secrets- see SS Prisoner of Azkaban- pretty good, yet no big showdown Goblet of Fire- I'm not sure how I feel about this one Order of the Phoenix- too long, but still good Half-Blood Prince- Just right, but no showdown with voldy.

My favourite book is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. What I love: 1. Harry is finally angry about his appalling luck and the fact he keeps losing people. 2. PMS Harry is amusing and it is interesting to see the trio dynamic change as Harry was previously the peacemaker for Ron and Hermione. 3. The plot is excellent in stark contrast to HBP which barely stands as a book in its own right. 4. The subtle glimpses of romance. 5. There are some really creepy dark moments such as Umbridge forcing Harry to write lines in blood, Umbridge enjoying the misery of others, Umbridge wanting to torture Harry. 6. We get to see more of the Order. 7. Tonks is awesome. 8. Harry gets a taste of being the overshadowed outsider as Ron is made Prefect and wins the Quidditch cup for Gryffindor. 9. Dumbledore realises he can no longer manipulate Harry into situations that will prepare him to defeat Voldemort. 10. I liked the handling of Sirius's death. Sirius had to die because Harry has to be more or less alone when he finally faces Voldie for the last time. 11. We see a darker side to Harry's hero complex. He is reckless and acts too much on instinct. 12. My two favourite chapters in the whole series are the respective getaways of Dumbledore and the twins. 13. The D.A are awesome.

[glow=blue,2,300]PS - Very good. Although seeing as it was the beginning, we weren't really let into anything interesting. CoS - I really liked the mystery of Slytherin and how we found out about the younger Tom Riddle and Aragog (even though I wasn't a big fan of him). PoA - Being introduced to Sirius and Harry flying Buckbeak. Especially about Voldemort's servant and Remus Lupin, and how he was friends with James Potter. Harry producing his first Patronus. Draco being bashed by Hermione and the Time Turner. GoF - The Triwizard Tournament, the Pensieve, Barty Crouch Junior and the Quidditch World Cup. More history about the Riddle house and LV's rise in power. OOTP - I liked Umbridge and how Harry started the DA and went to the Ministry to find out about the Prophecy. Sirius is still alive though. I think so anyway. HBP - Harry finding out about the Horcruxes and DD and him going to fight the Inferi.[/size][/glow]

In book 6 Harry finally realized how to go after Voldemort and that he can honestly do it on his own. He came into his own and fully matured. Though I did like him getting mad in book 5, it was about time he cracked.
