How long will it take everyone to read? I'm just curious cause I know my friend who reads them could read it in like 2.5 hours and it'll take me at least a day or two. But I do plan on not sleeping at all.

I usually like to read leisurely and savor it, but I'm afraid I'll get spoiled if I don't read faster. Hopefully I can finish by Saturday afternoon and then go back and read it again slower.

I ordered mine off of Amazon, so I'm thinking I'll get it no later than 1pm on Saturday. So, I think I'll have it finished around 7 or 8pm.

I get to watch kids open their little baggies and dive into the book, while I have to smile and sell it to them for 5 HOURS (its released at 11:01 I get off work at 4), and then get 1 hour to read as much as I can before getting ready from my pre-prom party, which goes till 7:30, then I go to the prom at 8 till 1 in the morning, and then possibly go to an after ball till 3pm. So I won't end up reading it till about 4 am on Sunday, but when I start, I will not put it down till I'm done, which will probably be around 9am in the morning.

I like to savor it, so probably within a day or two. (or three at least if I really savor it, though that probably won't happen)

Call me stupid but I think it impossible for someone to truly understand and absorb what they're reading if they read something as massive as an HP book in 2 1/2 hours.

ill have to resist the urge to turn to the back of the book and read the last chapter heh. but ill probably read it in a few hours and then go back and re-read it and take everything in.

I read Order of the Pheonix overnight. I went back to read it later, though, to make sure I didn't miss anything.
Since this is the last book, I'm prolly going to read it slower than normal. I'll finish it mid-week I think.

I read it pretty throughly, and it took me roughly 8 hours of straight reading.

You've read it? I can't read it until my brother has finished, or I could go out and bye a copy later on.
He's been reading it for three hours and is on page 90. I have a long wait left. But, yeah I like to read it slowly and absorb absolutely everything, that's what I did with the sixth book. I've talked to people about the Half Blood Prince, parts they can't even remember.

I took about 15 hours to read it I think. That's including breaks so it might be less though. I got it at midnight and read till 3:30am and then I read from 9am this morning until now.

I think everyone will finish it before me. My brother's mainly been reading it so I'm only on Chapter 4. But I go on holiday tomorrow which means I will have nothing else to do but read.
