I think mine is. My teachers are concerned that I "don't work hard enough" or I don't work "up to potential." If they thought so, why didn't they send home an interim so I could work harder? And I've been working my ass off. And they say that my grades "ren't quite up to par." WTF? Just becuase I'm not a straight A student doesnt mean that I'm an idiot or too stupid for the f*cking school. I don't have any grades below a B, and I think that's pretty damn good. If I were at a public school I'd be better than straight A, I'd be bored out of my mind. And I mean, I get pretty good grades on tests and quizes and projects and hw, I just don't like to participate, I'm not that kind of learner, I learn by listening and writing down notes, not by askig questions. And I like to wait till the teacher is done teaching something, and if I have a question, I'll ask it, but I like to wait and make sure they don't answer it. Raising my hand also gets me confused and distracted. And if I don't have a question, I won't ask anything because I'm more likely to get confused. And what's the point of unnecessary talking? And my teachers are always saying how Bs are really good and we should be proud if we got them, and I usually get As but the occasional C can really mess my grade up, and lots of other kids get worse grades and the teachers aren't concerned. Adn then after telling us how good Bs are, they go to a stupid faculty meeting and all talk about how concerned they are of me for getting a mix of As and Bs? Since when is it mandatory to get a red ribbon? And what if I don't get if I get invited back or if I don't care about my grades? It's just middle school. And I don't even like the school and I never have, ever since kindergarten. Adn in 4th grade I begged my mom to let me change schools but she thought I was joking and she didn't want to let me and now she's telling me my only other option is public school. I don't want to go to public school! I won't get as good an education! She's practically forcing me to suffer, but maybe if I show her how desperate I am and go to public school, she'll change her mind, but I highly doubt it. My school is just so unfair, and the whole point of interims is so the teachers can warn students or tell them to work harder! And now they're concerned about me because I'm not a straight A student, have they ever thought about the possibility that I am bored out of my f*cking mind? They could try to make the courses a little harder and maybe get rid of soem of the teachers, some of my teachers don't like to teach so they're really crappy at it, for instance, my English teacher.
Englsih used to be my favorite subject because I love to read, but now, I dread it. She never has enough for us to do, and she comes up with activities that have nothing to do with English. She tries to spread out the time too much, the class moves too slow.
History moves a bit fast. She's a wonderful teacher and a genius, I mean, she went to Harvard! But she just has too high expectations. She's a great teacher but she just neads to sloww down a bit.
My math teacher is great; he loves to teach and he's good at it. But I wish he'd make us be more serious, we get too out of control. In the first trimester everything was fine because we were just getting to know him, but now we have too many jokes so we spend too much time joking around.
French, it's ok. I love to speak French, but it's too hard if I try too hard to think about grammar. I am much better at it when I'm not in the class and not pressured.
Science is ok, but I wish I had a different teacher, mine is really smart and stuff but she's just got way too high expectations and she is new at teaching so she's not great at it and she doesn't review enough for quizes and tests and she doesn't give us enough notes to take.
Religion is so easy, but she's too disorganized and we tend to get off topic so we don't make too much progress.
Computer has a crappy teacher who doesn't teach us anything. My sister's friend had to teach the "teacher" how to do frames, she didn't even know what they were! Luckily, she's leaving hte school and we get the good teacher next year.
All the rest of the subjects are fine. They're just specials, although Computer is, too.
Unfortunately, next year I'm going ot have a really crappy Civics teacher. I had her in 6ht grade and she is so stupid. She doesn't know how to spell response. She also does favorites in terms of students and she hates my family. She hated my sisters and she hates me.
How unfair are all your schools?

dang, your teachers are having a cow over A's and B's? i think that's pretty good, better than most of the kids in my grade....they don't even bother doing the work.....my school's pretty fair, but i don't really have any room to talk, i'm a straight a student and all my teachers love me....
i guess the only complaint i have is about my math teacher, who expects us to know everything....BUT WE DON'T, AND HE DOESN'T EVEN EXPLAIN THINGS GOOD! he just expects us to just do the friggin work, EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE NO CLUE ON WHAT TO DO!!!

My teachers are okay, but my English teacher is so stupid. I should have gotten perfect on our quiz on Helen Keller's autobiography, but she won't accept manual alphabet, which was in the book, instead of finger play which wasn't. We also don't get to use what we learn, only once in a blue moon are we told write essays. As a result, most of my classmates don't write correctly. It might as well be a toture chamber for Aunt Josephine.

my english teacher thinks that memorizing scenese in Romeo and Juliet is comprehension. she's a complete moron, but luckily, we got a new dean of faculty so we probably won't get as stupid teachers because the old one was goign senile and hte new one has a daughter at the school so she wants good teachers.

We are re-learning the foods in Spanish class.
"'Bistec' is the word for 'beef'," quoth my Spanish teacher.
"Ms. N____, I believe the word is 'biftec'," quoth I.
"Oh, right, I thought there might have been an f in there..."
My Spanish teacher can't even speak Spanish correctly.

I don't understand teachers at our school. Some of them are just too soft, like if someone swears at them in lessons they'll only say, "Right, that's a red comment*" but some are really strict, like even if you look at them they give you the dirtiest look ever. Like a teacher I hate, who I don't even know, but stood through all the English Reading Exam last week watching me, and everytime I looked up at the big clock in the hall she kept looking at me as if I was yelling at all the teachers, "GIVE ME SOME ANSWERS NOW!"
*Red comments are just a note in your school organiser, planner, to your parents saying you haven't been following rules, and etc.

my science teacher is awesome. but i dont really understand her. she does't mind if we say crap but if we say salsa she;ll be like, "what did you just say?"a and she does the same for f*ck but she doesnt tell our parents...i havent really tested the otehr teachers but i know that my french teacher doesnt mind crap or salsa because i say them all the time and so does she...i say @$$ all the time when my friends and i are complaining about our ginormous derrieres....but the only teachers who really mind are the nuns and there are only two as of now, there used to be a lot and htey used to live in the cloisters at our school which are now admissions offices....but the only one who teaches is my religion teacher and i try very hard not to say not nice words, even crap in front of her....but a lot of my teachers are 30 (we are very nosy, swe ask and my scinece teacher is 29 french is 30 i dont know about computer and gym is like...26) so they say that sort of stuff all the time and my french teacher says merde a lot...my music teacher in lower school said ass in fornt of us and hten my music teacher now said that all the hp songs are the same except b*st*rdized!! it was so funny...
the teachers always threaten detention but never give it because they dont want to have to sit there with us

Woah, you have it rough.
History isn't too slow, nor too fast. We go at an average pace. But it's so boring. What's worse is that I have it first period. My eyes are half open, and I almost want to go to sleep. I daydream about love and romance, like I always do, then I look back at the clock. 5 minutes have passed. Then I'll go to scribbling on paper, drawing 3-D cubes and such. When I'm bored with that, I'll go back to day dreaming again. I always sit next to the window, so I can look out at all the squirrels and birds flying around happily. Then I'll look back at the clock... Oh no, half an hour more to go. I wish I had something else first period, something more exciting. But the only other 7th grade classes that are first period are Spanish and Algebra. Meh.
English is almost the same way, but our teacher is funny and amusing. Well, actually, it's not the same way. English is fun and it flies by. Sort of. It doesn't really fly by, I just don't look at the clock as much.
French is very fast paced. We got half way through the book in only 1 trimester. But we learned so much. In French, the time flies by because we're always kept busy. I barely have time to look at the clock.
Science can vary. Most of the time it's fun and flies by, even when we aren't doing a lab or experiment.
Math is okay. It flies by, but that's only because I never look at the clock. I usually scribble on paper during Math. I like to sit in the back, so she won't see me scribbling. I guess it also helps that everyone comes to Math class 5 or 10 minutes late. I almost always am because I have Science before Math, and I have to walk all the way upstairs, plus exchanging text books in my locker, plus cleaning up any messy stuff that we made.
Musical Theater is blah. It's very dull, but it flies by because there isn't a clock in the room, so I can't see what time it is.
Study Hall goes my quick. Usually. It depends on how much homework I have to do.
Gym varies. It all depends on what unit we do. But no matter what, it flies by because there isn't a clock anywhere, and when there is one, we never have time to look at it.
Chorus is awful. It's dull. I'm always looking at the clock. I always bring a book to read during it, too. He's always yelling at the eighth graders to turn around. And with everyone talking, gah. It's tragic.
...And that's it...

Here's one thing that really bugs me. Really. Okay, I'm in TAG, (Gifted and Talented) right. Well, all of my teachers expect me to do very well, and better than all of the other kids b/c i'm in Gifted. Well, I'm superlazy. I don't really feel like doing my hardest or anything. I don't even study. It's a waste of time. But yet I always do good on tests. I just really pay attention in class, and I don't have to study! ;D
This one girl in my class (who shall remain unnamed) (don't worry, it's not me) In 5ht grade, she used to study for her tests, right. Well, she studied really hard and stuff, but she still got a bad grade on her test. She tried that again, and she still studied. Same results (pretty much) So, the next time, she didn't study. She got near or above 100% on her test. How messed up is that? So I guess the wise thing to do is not study, right?
Also, 4th grade was actually harder than 6th grade. How messed up is that?

Also, 4th grade was actually harder than 6th grade. How messed up is that? same w/ me. but in 4th grade we got homework from each subjectr and it was all due the next dy, but in middle school, our schedule vary a lot more because the schedules are made for the convenience of different teachers but in lower school the homeroom teacher tought science and math and english and history

I'm in 6th grade,(going to 6th anyway) and the G.T. students have to read a 8th grade book over the Summer! 6th graders need air to live ,(and music) but homework... I don't think so! And I wanted to read Redwall.

My school isn't unfair except for a dress code. I'm going to 7th grade. My friends says that it's hard, but I don't think it will be because I graduated with the highest award in sixth grade last year. ;D
