My friend has the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, as well. It's quite good.
Oh, an anime prequel would be cool... I wonder what voice actors they would get... Hikaru Midorikawa is a good VA, and he had, like, a one-line part in the anime part in KB1, so maybe they'd give him a bigger part. And maybe they'd get Koyasu Takehito... *is hopeful* ...but probably not.

If I were QT I'd just use the actual Kill Bill actors for the American dub, as I hear tell that the anime prequel is focusing on Bill growing up and assembling the D.iV.A.S. under the training of Hattori Hanzo, Pai Mei and Estéban Vihaio.

I like that show. I have a plushie of Vash. T'is cute. Fun!! Where'd you get it? And does it have like a little miniature gun?

RahXephon is an anime that ran through they year of 2002, and is not playing new epidoes anymore.
This series is one of the newest Animated series on Western shores, and it certainly looks beautiful. The cel artwork is very cleanly drawn with nice thick outlines giving the characters a bold look, and the backgrounds are beautifully done. This series is simply full of wonderfully dramatic images, and even the small, inconsequential shots are simply fun to look at.
The story is also a strong point in the series. Try to avoid spoilers for this series' plot as much as possible. A lot of the enjoyment comes from watching things unfold and witnessing the nature of the world the creators have painted. The twists are hard hitting and the situations are constantly shifting, bad guys and good guys are so difficult to discern because in reality, there are no absolute evil people, just different shades of cruelty. The plot touches on issues like racism, war hatred, xenophobia, homesickness, adolescence, love and more or less everything else.
It's been compared to Neon Genesis Evangelion, and one can see where people see the resemblance, but once one starts watching Rahxephon, one will realize how
fundamentally different the two series are in almost every way. To any Anime fan, or really, to any fan of animation at all, this series is highly recommended, and ADV's DVD presentation of the series is top-notch.
Akito Tenkawa: Akito is the cook of the battleship Nadesico. Akito was trained as a pilot, but due to a traumatising battle experience, he only wishes to cook. Akito is unwillingly roped into being the Nadesico pilot. Furthermore, Yurika, captain of the Nadesico, has a huge crush on him.
A bio of Naru Narusegawa: Voiced by Yui Horie, who is well-known as the Japanese voice of Sakuya in the Tenchi in Tokyo TV series, and lesser known for playing Lieza in Arc The Lad, and Freya Aun in Photon, Narusegawa, or simply "Naru", is quite a violent and intolerent girl. Though things really start off on the wrong foot between her and Keitaro, she actually does admire him a lot. Unfortunately, her affection often turns to blind hatred, as she really doesn't know how to express any of her feelings towards Keitaro. This leads to her venting her anger on Keitaro, who despite trying his best not to, often lands himself in a number of highly questionable situations, which she refuses to let him explain. Naru is a good friend of Kitsune, though they're almost complete opposites in responsibility.
