I haven't seen the original Gundam, just Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, which is the second-newest of the Gundam series (the newest being Gundam Seed).

Im a avid fan of anime. My favorites ;D being: Gate keepers 21, Rayearth, El Hazard, Devil Hunter Yohko, But the one Anime i hate is Lain. not because its bad, i just don't follow it. I hate lain that show is kinda dumb the plot is good but you just want to say shut up when the show comes on so i don't watch it anymore. i saw like ten episodes before i got tired. Thats the first anime that i actually hate!

[glow=blue,2,300]Gate keepers: set in the 60's a show where teens with the ability to open gates they control, such as one girl can control the gate of illusion by playing piano, they need a conduit may it be a wooden sword, bow and arrow or gym costume. But not always sometimes they can just unleash a attack. Its ok if you like that whole magic employed by government to defend evil thing. Gate keepers 21: much better. same basic idea but its set in present day tokyo the daughter of a gate keeper trains a newbie (only 5 episodes) and they get rid of invaders ( creepey guys in balck outfits with cowboy hats and sun glasses) all good animes though[/glow]

Some animes that I love are Yu Yu Hakusho, Ruroni Kenshin, and Crest of the Stars. I haven't seen Crest of the Stars for a long time though. I saw it at my grandparents house and there isn't much to do there except watch tv so I watched a 5 hour marathon of Crest of the Stars. The plot was confusing at first but after 3 episodes I started to understand it.

I read manga. I really like Ken Akamatsu's Mangas. They're Very Convicing To Me. I Like Rurouni Kenshin, Negima! (By Ken, This is the first manga i've ever bought. I Hadn't Heard Of It So I Got This Instead Of INUYASHA's First One.) Inuyasha and Some I can't think of right now.

OOOOH!!! I DOOOO!!!! who else reads manga??? PET SHOP O HORRORS AND MEGATOKYO ROCK!!!! Is Megatokyo even manga, really? It was written in the US (it says so in the back of the book, for the people so used to Japanese that they expect it to read right to left). I have the Pet Shop of Horrors DVD somewhere... I should watch it. Has anyone else ever seen Vampire Hunter D (either the original or :Bloodlust)?

Yyyyyeah, I (personally) don't count Megatokyo as "true" manga. It's a manga-style webcomic that just got printed out and published. (Slightly related and a little mean-spirited, here's a comic about Megatokyo that Penny-Arcade did. Although from what I hear the two get along fine.) Pet Shop of Horrors is great though. Very creepy and nice.

I shall bump up this topic, because talking about anime is fun. ...as is talking about anime conventions at which L'Arc-En-Ciel will perform (Otakon, which is my first big anime con, so it works out nicely).
Has anyone seen Infinite Ryvius? A friend of mine recommended it, so I'm wondering what other people think of it.
