An official Snicketmail for today's reveal. It has begun! --- Dear Alleged Associate, Please immediately listen to THIS which contains a top secret recorded conversation between Daniel Handler and myself, and see the attachment below, which depicts an undisclosed book cover. The more people who are made aware of this classified information the better chance we have of keeping our secret. With all due respect, Lemony Snicket ---

Last year we got about four e-mails a month until May, where it dropped off to two until July, when we received one. If this schedule is anything to go by, we'll have our next e-mail in less than a week.

My personal suspicion is that they'll have tried hard to learn from last year and will make an effort to smooth out scheduling irregularities on the Snicketmails. They still won't be entirely predictable, probably, but I'd expect them to be a bit less erratic.

We have an inkling of the presence of a large corporation called Ink Inc. in the story. We didn't hear much about them in ?1, but their presence in the drained valley was noticeable.

Maybe the next book will inspire you a little more - or the next Snicketmail. It's been over two months since the announcement, so I would imagine we'll hear a little more soon.
