Hmmm...I'm quite fascinated by Kit. Maybe, Kit will FINALLY reveal some answers to some questions the Bauds were looking for. What is so special about the sugar bowl? I believe it will play a part in the next one, but maybe, its plain simple. Maybe it has sugar in it...and if used in villianous hands may be used to spike tea, or worse coffee. Please state what you believe will happen in the next book.

I think the Sugar Bowl Secret will be revealed in 13, not 12

I honestly don't think it will be revealed at all...Handler likes to confuse us.

I believe, since Quigley arranged to meet the baudelaires on tuesday, rather than seeing them at Hotel D on thurday, that Quigley and the Bauds will try and track down Quigley's siblings, in a zeppelin, in order to tell them of the eagles and mechanical octopusses after them, and in order for them to join the meeting

Plausible..
I think they might try to find Quigley's siblings..but definitely go to the Hotel. Maybe even travel back to see the remains of their house.
I'm hoping Kit and the other VFDers will tell us something. Kit fascinates me, too!

I really hope it tells us how the schism started and the importance of the sugar bowl.

I think it will be the zepplin idea. But olaf has to come into play somehwere in each book perhaps he lights the zepplin or HAMH. That would be dramatic but I suppose it also has to have hotel D in it. But denoumont means something like dramatic end. This all confounds me to no end

I honestly don't think the Baudelaires will go to the Hotel in this book, and if they do it will be near chapters 12-13...
I mean, they cannot just skip 2 days...Lemony always plays through the things as they happen..so it's not like he'll say "2 days later..."
So I think something big will happen between Tuesday and Thursday....

End of Book the Twelfth, in my opinion: Violet, Klaus and Sunny are rescued (I don't know what from, I'm just theorising) by Hector, Duncan, and Isadora (don't ask about Quigley, I don't know) in the Deus Ex Machina. As they fly away, there's some quality plot exposition time. Then the man with a beard but no hair and the woman with hair but no beard finally catch up to the self-sustaining hot-air mobile home. They introduce themselves, give a bit of information about where they lie in the schism, and then start to burn the s.s.h.a.m.h. The Baudelaires escape in parachutes (I don't know what will happen to the Quagmires and Hector) but they are separated by strong winds. Book the Thirteenth will start with them all being adrift at sea, with Violet separated from her siblings (see the BBRE for more information).

Now,the clues at the end of the book are starting to get harder.I mean, think about it.The torn up letters dont even give us a hint. And on the last pictures it only shows a tin can with the words Hotel D.Its kinda strange.

It's a hat, not a tin can. Which makes slightly more sense.

I forsee that Book the Twelfth will end in a cliffhanger. Possibly literally. *small smile*
Seriously, though, in the overall flow of the books so far, I would guess that we get to know Kit rather nicely, though she will remain vague in her explainations. She will, eventually, become separated from the children, although it seems very likely indeed that Quiggley should make an appearance and possibly stay with the Baudelairs a bit longer this time. I also agree with the speculations that a fair amount of time will be spent in the air, most likely in the SSHAMH, so I would not be surprised should the Baudelairs reunite with Duncan, Isadora, and Hector.

this is what i want to happen: 1:we have some sort of clue what the sugar bowl is.2: the baudelaires meet up with quigley.3:they find duncan and isadora. 4: the triplets are shocked but happy to see each other 5:blah, blah blah blah blah blah. you people already said most of the things that i want to happen. and i also think there will be a lot of time spent in the air ;D oh, i have a feeling some ones gonna die. don't ask me who but all i know its someone. and why do i have the feeling quigley will betray the right side of the schism? oh i know, to many fanfictions!!
