Yes, of course she did. Why make a poll over it? The truth is known. Here is the quote:
"We're here", she (Violet) said. "Good", Count Olaf replied, "because I wanted to tell you that I learned something else from Madam Lulu." "What did you learn?" Klaus asked. There was a pause, and the two children could hear cruel peals of laughter coming from the small device in Violet's hand. "I learend that you are the Baudelaires!" Count Olaf cried in triumph.

Yep. She told both Olaf and the Baudelaires what they wanted to hear, and in the end, she died. A tragic case, and I cannot help but wonder if we will ever learn more of her background. We got the tiniest of snippets in TGG, where it was revealed that she and Captain Widdershins were friends when they were children, but nothing more.
I suppose the photograph of the Baudelaires at Damocles Dock from an R. or a K. must be tied up at some point, so perhaps...

The Carnivorous Carnival was a great book, and her duplicitous character was the thread that kept it going-much like Quigley in TSS or Fernald in TGG.
As for that archival library...never have I been so tantalised by secrets during ASOUE. Or pretty much anything else.

And there is also that Madam DiLustro thing. Some people seem to think they are the same people. This is undoutably because of the Madam in front of both their names. How stupid.

As the person who originally posted the Lulu DiLustro idea, I object to the way you are cutting the argument down to one point. There was more to it than that, such as the fact that both were detectives and good cooks, and that Madame DiLustro has a secret identity. I do not always believe 100% in the theories I try out here. I'm hoping other 667'ers will debate based on the evidence. I have changed my mind about this one because of something I found in TRR, p. 27, "...formal dinner party given by my friend, Madame DiLustro... she flies into a rage if you arrive even five minutes later than her invitation states."Madame Lulu in TCC seems to be too poor to be giving formal dinner parties, and her character is too people-pleasing to fly into a rage over someone being fivc minutes late.

Yes, though that could be all an act, since it is not her true identity. Although Madam Lulu and Olivia both wanted to help people... so.... This just enforces my argument. Though I must admit, Lulu DiLustro sounds cool.

Also, in a chapter in TCC, there was a kinda menu of Cafe salmonella and a kinda ticket with two dolphins (?) illustrated on it. Prospero ticket?

There was also, if I recall correctly, a document with the official U.A.-style V.F.D. insignia heading it. All from the archival library. Pity that it's just ashes now.
