On page 95 of LSUA, there is a list of sailors and their last names. Top left of the photo where it's torn is sailor Snicket. That could be Jake/Jacob, Jacques or Lemony but I think all of the men there are VFD-ers.

They probably are VFDers, amd they all bear the names of children's authors. Sailor Snicket tore off his face from the photo. I think it was Lemony, because he was going to board the Prospero, if that letter from Captain S is authentic.

Just wandering Tocuna, where did you get this from?
Counting Crows One for sorrow, two for joy Three for girls, four for boys Five for silver, six for gold Seven for a secret never to be told

That's an old folk rhyme, used to tell the future when crows flew by. In a town with as many crows as mine, it's useful. There's also a band called Counting Crows, and they worked that rhyme into one of their songs. I know of a website that tells you more, and I'll track it down later.

That's quite a bump, flamingtears. But for some reason, I'm in a good mood. You're safe from my wrath... For now!
Yeah, it's definitely Lemony. What with the letter from the Captain, and stuff. I can't see how it would make sense for it to not be Lemony.
