Speak of the Devil!!!
Anyway, I'm here talking about the Biography of Lemony Snicket!! Let's see...
Let us start with Chapter One. The Little Snicket Lad is a good song... But there are two tunes for it. The Little Snicket Lad (sorry for no italicized) is the tune of Row Row Row your boat and Yankee Doodle. Why? I'm not sure... But who are these dairy people? V.F.D. members perhaps?
SPEAK OF THE DEVIL!! (My little ender)

If you listen to Yankee doodle and read along with the song it's exactly the same!! Thanks to Swans I now know this.
I don't know about Row, Row, Row your boat though... Maybe...

It must be Row Row Row your boat, Lemony Snicket says the tune to the song is a dangerous boat accident or something. I can't remember, I'll have to dig it out...

I'm confuddled, confussed, and confused. (And perplexed!)

I've played it on the piano, and it is definatly only Row, row, row your boat. And its not the tune of Gilliagan's Isle, because I can play that too. (randomness!) I beleive it was the tune of "a well-known naval disaster".

Oh, Swans, I didn't realize... Oh well. Anyway I don't think Row etc. is naval disaster unless you sing it through your nose with a quarter in it. Then it would be, but otherwise it's not!!
So what is the song? I tried playing it on my trumpet. The notes are the same as Row, Row, Row your boat, but... I swear Swans!! I read along and it's the same!!

Well, according to my own theory Row, Row, Row your boat is a disaster. Life is but a dream would refer to the boat ride being a dream that you wished could happen. Then you wake up to the horror of your real life. I thought of this today in second period.

Perhaps Lemony dreaded a round of "Row, row, row your boat" in the same manner that Wednesday Addams (portrayed by Christina Ricci) dreaded "Kumbayah".

Sadly, I've never read the autobiography. I have it, but never read it...
