Remember when his autobiography came out? It was like after THH or TCC, I believe. And none of it made sense to me because we had like no idea about the secret V. F. D. headquarters and all that stuff.
Didn't it make you just go "Umm,...okay?" after reading it? What are your thoughts on this?

I got it after I read all the books already.....ONLY SOME of it, like, a few specific pages, made me go..."Huh..?" but the rest made sense....

It came out after THH, and at this time not all of the clues could be fit into the series. But Handler did a wonderful job of putting clues related to it in later books, and we should expect to see more in TGG.

Oh, I see. Good points. I should get the book back from my friend and read it again. V. F. D. definitely makes a lot more sense now Wouldn't you agree?

I have to say the Autobiography is my favourite of the books. It's like a puzzle I'm not too impatient to figure out! I enjoyed finding the connections to the existing books, and piecing together the internal puzzles/jokes. It's certainly the most clever, and the most complicated. I only want to know why it was published halfway through the series. It seems a little non-sequitor.

It is also my near favourite, it will last a long time, waiting until the end of the series, I think there will be another book like this published at the end of the series and this will along with TUA and the 13 books, tie up the series, but it wont be fact fact fact, I believe that you will have to work to find out what it means, like a crossword or jigsaw puzzle.

There were loads of rumors floating around a long time ago, saying that Harper Collins had planned to release books called "Violet's Diary Before (something bad)" and "Duncan's Notebook before he was Murdered" and "Isadora's Notebook before the Accident" All are apparently fake unless they plan on releasing these after the last two books are pulished and that just doesn't make sense. So yeah, there were supposed to be more background-info books, but I guess those were just hoaxes.

How would that be possible, with the notebooks just tatters? Which is why most people didn't fall for it.

When I first read this book it made no sense at all. I read it through once and then left it on the shelf but a few months later after I'd read some more books I picked it up again and really looked through it.

There was something I read in the GG that reminded me of something I had read in the autobiography. I don't remember what it was though. Do you think he has the books planned out like JK Rowling does?

Do you think he has the books planned out like JK Rowling does? It's so complicated that he must do. He's probably got a list of clues to throw aside randomly in each chapter, as well.
