I bet this has already been mentioned but why is it that in disguise training the K in Kit is always capital?
I mean what could it possibly mean, if it means Kit Snicket, then was it just a clue to what the K in the "Family Tree" stood for? Or was it more than that?
None of the other letters are capital that shouldn't be, and it happens every time the word "Kit" is used.
Maybe it just isn't a valid clue anymore because we already know who Kit is now.

Since "VFD Disguise Kit" is sort of a brand-name, Kit is capitalized. The fact that Lemony Snicket's sister has a name that's also a common noun is probably coincidence; Handler himself might not even be aware of this. And the name Kit is short for Katherine.

"we provide our volenteers with a disguise Kit"
Why capital K if no capital D?
"altering herself using the V.F.D. disguise Kit"
Again.
"makeup Kit including lipstick and false..."
I think it was a clue for before TGG...
