How many people keep a commonplace book? I just started a couple days ago, listing all the characters and stuff. What kind of stuff do you put in yours? Please write back!!!

Mine has the Little Snicket Lad song, quotes from characters, notes and a current fan fic I haven't bothered to type up. My commonplace book is actually a part of my writing book, which I obviously write my stories and poems in.

I do! I write real-life conicidences, facts that correspond with the auto-bio and book. (I keep looking for the Seabald code and others in the books) It didn't seem to work when the phone rings at aunt Josephine's.

Yeah, I did a really thorough commonplace notebook for TBB... and wow, it drives you CRAZY. For now, I think I'll stick with noting things in my mind before I set off on more commonplace notebooks. ^_^

I have like ten different notebooks that I write various things in, but I'd like to start an actual commonplace book soon. I might just write interesting, seemigly useless facts that might come in handy someday, or poetry like Isadora does. Maybe both. I want to have a pitch black one like Isadora, too.

Mine's green, like Lemony's, although I don't use it to store information about aSoUE - my head will do for that.

Lemony said so himself someplace in the autobio. My commonplace books is a pitch-black Day-Planner thing, in which I record dreams, story ideas, odd things said by my teachers, and just about anything of interest.

The first thing I have written in mine talks about the time my sister's car got stolen when I was 7, and my Sailor Moon shoe got left in it. Car came back, but no shoe! I've always wondered why...

I've had three ASOUE ones.
The First: Before 667, around the era of a new TCC: Absolutely is horrible, although not bad in its original purposed. Nothing is credited or quoted.
The Second: The week I joined 667. Decorated with eyes and sayings of fire. Good intentions, recorded TBB-TSS, but again nothing is credited. Abandoned for this reason, and because it was full. No actual theories in it.
The Third: Green. Has TGG and the UA in it. Everything is credited, and commented on.

I wish to start one soon, containing all of Lemony's weird "a cupboard, like a coffin, shark-infested pool and volcano is never a comfortable place to be in" phrases, and then I will see if there is some kind of connection. Also, I noticed that four different newbs posted in one thread. Kinda... odd. Well, I think it's curious.
Edit: SKILL, this is my 500th Post! I'm not a newb anymore! YAY. Though I must admit, I hope the content of my posts made you believe I was no newb. Meh. I will be asking for an advancement.

Also, I noticed that four different newbs posted in one thread. Kinda... odd. Well, I think it's curious. That's a good idea. I usually put in things like quotes, as Cap'ain Widdershins once said (or always said!) ' He (or she) who hesitates is lost. Or things like that. Edit: SKILL, this is my 500th Post! I'm not a newb anymore! YAY. Though I must admit, I hope the content of my posts made you believe I was no newb. Meh. I will be asking for an advancement. Yay *Hugs PJ* I'm jealous. This is my 446th post, I think. That's soo cool!! Ur all grown up .
