When he got nearer he understood. Antenora was sat next to Akbar and had her hand on his arm. Parts of Akbar’s arm was disfigured and scorched. Blistered covered most of it, but there were patches of perfectly healed flesh and Dante could see that where Antenora held her hand the skin was healing. She pulled her hand away and it was still repairing. Soon, Akbar’s entire arm was healed. Dante was mystified until he realised this is what Antenora’s ‘Power’ was.
“Woah, it doesn’t hurt anymore.” Akbar said, slowly lifting up his arm.
“I thought you would have had to go to hospital” Antenora told him.
“You wouldn’t get this kind of treatment on the NHS” Amber muttered.
“Could you heal the landscape as well, Antenora?” Derik said, looking around at the burnt remains of what was a mountain top retreat.
“Maybe,” She replied, turning to face the blackened landscape
Her forehead crumpled in focus as she imagined the landscape as it was before. A white light escaped from both of her hands and shone on the scalded plants. It seemed to brush away the black from the trees and they stood upright again. The ashes on the floor jumped up and hung in the air, forming shapes of the plants that used to be. They slowly fell to the ground and looked healthy once more. The brown grass turned green under the light and was healed.
Antenora dropped her hands to her sides and her eyes snapped open. Once she had seen that the area was as it used to be, she collapsed.
Dante was the first to her side, jumping over PJ, and accidentally managing to kick him in the face
“Are you okay?” He gasped.
“I’ll be fine, I’m just a bit tired” She replied. “And kind of hungry”
“I’m hungry too, now you mention it” Amber said.
“And me” PJ mumbled from the ground.
“Dante and I worked out a way for us to get food” Ennui said “Either Derik or PJ needs to go and get us food. And since no one expects PJ to randomly appear it has to be Derik.”
“Where would I get the food from?” Derik asked.
“We all have kitchens, don’t we?” Ennui said.
“Good point.” PJ said
“So you want me to go scavenging round your kitchens to bring you food?” Derik said sceptically
“That about sums it up” Dante said.
“It’s not stealing is it?” Ennui added.
“But, what’s he going to say to anyone who asks about us?” Amber asked.
“As a last resort, that we are ill” Dante said
“All of us? At the same time?” Akbar said “Surely, no one is going to believe that.”
“They’ll have to” Ennui said grimly.
“Or what?” PJ asked.
“We haven’t thought of that yet” Ennui admitted.
PJ sniggered “Great plan” he chortled
“Fine PJ. How about you try and feed us all.” Dante snarled
PJ thought for a moment, then laughed and disappeared again.
“Not again,” Dante said.
“He’s not on the island” Derik said, using his global moderator powers to scan the island and find PJ. “In fact I have no idea where he’s gone.”
“Stupid PJ” Dante said “He should at least explain himself before going off like that”
“Now, Dante-” Ennui began as he saw Dante’s eyes turning red again.
“It probably makes him feel big and clever” Dante said. “I mean, who knows where he was last time.” And Dante’s hands started to give off small flames.
“Try not to anger yourself, he’ll be back soon” Antenora soothed.
“He better be-” Dante started
He threw a fireball in the air without looking, trying to reduce his rage. It was heading in Ennui’s direction and was cut off from two ways. Amber had sent a bolt of electricity to try and push it off course. Ennui had, without realising put up his hands and sent out a small blue ball, it hit the fire and exploded, smothering it. The others saw that it was a ball of water, but, like Dante’s fire it wasn’t ordinary water. As it hit the ground the grass died almost immediately.
“Funky” Derik said as the others stood silently
“Ah well, at least we’ve found out what I can do, just Akbar to go” Ennui said, examining his hands
“But we can’t leave until PJ gets back” Dante said. He had been calmed by the fact that Ennui could stop his fire.
“And who knows how long he’ll be?” Amber said.
“He is in a tacky Chinese Takeaway in Birmingham” Akbar said.
They all turned and saw Akbar sat on the ground and concentrating. His eyes were shut.
“He doesn’t know what you all want so he’s ordered the whole menu”
“Prat” Derik muttered.
“Akbar?” Ennui asked. But Akbar didn’t reply.
“He should be back later.” Akbar said. His eyes snapped open
“What was that?” Derik asked. “Were you talking to PJ?” He added
“He wasn’t talking to me but I could see where he was and what he was doing.” He said.
“So you were reading his mind, to put it bluntly.” Dante said.
“I suppose you could say that” Akbar replied
“At least we know PJ isn’t dead” Amber pointed out.
“Don’t be too disappointed, Dante” Akbar said.
Dante looked puzzled and then realised that Akbar was reading his thoughts.
“Akbar, is there any way of turning that off?” Ennui asked.
“Probably” He replied “I mean I’m not reading your thoughts now” Akbar said and the others looked relieved.
“So what do you want to do while we wait for PJ?” Antenora said
“Can we leave?” Derik asked hopefully.
“As much as I want to, I think we have to stay” Dante replied.
“Yes, we do” Ennui said,
“I’m tired,” Amber said, yawning, "I think I’ll go to sleep."
“Yeah, we all should, considering we’ll be back on the island tomorrow” Ennui said
So they made a bed out of the leaves. It didn’t take long as Derik just waved his hand and the leaves moved to where he wanted.
“I really could get used to this” he said.
When they were all asleep PJ appeared, carrying four bags of Chinese Takeaway. He left them under a bush and fell asleep next to Akbar, as far from Dante as he could get.

I liked a bunch of stuff - like how the island had fallen into ruin and decay, and the part where I "accidentally" kicked PJ in the face.
Edit: I'm not that volatile, though, but it works fine in the story.

Yeah, great stuff. Though it would be cooler if I had purposely made Dante angry. And it would be so like me to toss rocks at everyone just in case they have some kind of power that pushes away rocks. And I like how we are all wary of Akbar's telepathy. That could prove...interesting.

Great story! I wonder what everyone's going to do next...with their powers, I mean. I could be goood and bad on that island. And what about CCV? Hmm, I guess I'll just have to wait.

I've started writing the next one. I'll post the start of it now, then.
The next morning the sun had disappeared from the sky. The clouds were low and the seven were stuck in an eerie mist that was draped over the top of the mountain. They woke up in a heap, and were careful when they got up and moved around. Derik tried to lift himself off of the ground and failed dismally, he managed to get himself about a metre above the earth and then got exhausted and landed on Akbar, who sat sharply up and hit Antenora in the shoulder, who rolled over and poked Dante in the eye. Dante sat up and elbowed PJ in the stomach, who hit Amber in the knee. She curled up and her knee collided with Ennui’s chin, he then put his hand out and it ended up in the bag of Chinese Takeaway PJ had got the night before. There was a group groan and they all sat up, being careful not to hit anyone.
“Sorry” Derik said, looking at the ground,
“Never mind” Ennui said, creating a small fountain in the air to clean his hand with.
With a flick of his wrist he changed it into a more elaborate fountain with carved sculptures. He smiled and admired his work. With another flick of his wrist it vanished.
The entire group, except Amber, stood up. She preferred to roll over and go back to sleep. Ennui walked over and gently nudged her awake. She wasn’t the happiest person in the morning and sent light sparks of electricity into his hand. He jumped back as she curled up once more. He grinned and crept over to her, trying to be quiet; he got right above her and then made a waterfall in the air. She was drenched and her eyes snapped open as she tried to get out of the waterfall’s path. Ennui laughed but she shot more sparks at him, who dived out of the way. The sparks went right over his head but hit PJ in the neck, making him fall to the ground. Derik, who was having a conversation with PJ, shrugged and walked away, leaving PJ.
“Do you think we should do something?” Amber asked, sounding vaguely concerned for PJ.
“He’s not hurt” Ennui said “See, he is looking around when he thinks we aren’t watching”
“Oh yeah, that’s okay then” She said, relieved.
I have to go to school now. I'm not doing anything when I get home so I'll hopefully do more then.

Classic. Feigning injury is right up my alley. Hehe, I can't wait till we get back to 667, and we all end up showing off our cool powers and everyone gets jealous. Well, at least, I HOPE that happens. Gloating is fun. Oh, and nicely done. Write more. Soon. *shakes fist* Hehe, I can't get enough of that...

The chain reaction effect at the start was funny, as is our general attitude towards PJ (and equally, his own attitude). I look forward to the rest of it.

Fifth Installment The next morning the sun had disappeared from the sky.
They walked off, to join the others.
“Are we all ready to leave?” Antenora asked.
Derik looked at PJ, who was still rolling around on the floor.
“Yes. I think so.” He said.
“Where’s PJ?” Dante asked
“Over there” Derik said, disappointed.
“Go make him get up, will you” Dante said.
“Okay then” Derik said, and moved to where PJ was.
PJ hadn’t heard the conversation, and thought that someone was coming over to see if he was alright. He got a nasty surprise when Derik started kicking him in the side. He teleported out of the way and stood up.
“What was that for?” He wailed
“Got you up, didn’t I?” Derik replied, grinning.
“Yeah, I suppose.” PJ argued, “But-”
“But what? We’re leaving now, and you’d be even more annoyed if we left without you” Derik snapped at him
“You could have got me up nicely, like by talking. Not by brutally assaulting me”
“Brutally assaulting you?” Derik stifled a laugh.
“Yeah” PJ said. Trying to think of more to say he muttered “You could have killed me”
At this point Derik couldn’t stop himself.
“PJ, you are hilarious” He said through tears of laughter.
“What? I was being serious” He said sullenly “Oh-” He realised that Derik wasn’t going to change his mind and walked off, sulking.
On the rest of the island the members had started to talk. They couldn’t fail to notice that many important members had suddenly disappeared. Stories started to be thrown around. There were some who believed that they had gone on a murderous rampage and had been taken away. Others thought that they had been captured by the enemy. But they weren’t entirely sure who the enemy were. There where some who believed that they had turned invisible and were watching their every movement. These people were ridiculed, even though it was the closest to the truth.
Posters had sprung up around the landscape, looking for the missing people. These small rectangular pieces of paper or card didn’t help much. Search parties were formed and they wandered around aimlessly until they themselves were lost. They decided to just wait for their return. There were a few who said that they would never return, but most people decided to ignore them.
One of the search parties had decided to search the mountains, and they were trekking through tall grass and rocky fields. They had originally been with a bigger group, but the others had given up and gone back to the island, there were only four of them left and they had been hiking silently for hours. They had scaled one of the mountains so far, and had found nothing.
“Can we give up now?” One of them asked. Breaking the silence as they reached the bottom of the mountain
“No” Another answered, she leapt ahead and started dancing through the trees in front of them
“Mad…” One of the two males said.
“She’s got the right attitude, you know” The other female said and darted after her.
“Eh…what’ve we got to lose?” The other male said and followed the other two, jumping around.
“Honestly” The remaining searcher said and ran off chasing the other three,
While they were dancing about they failed to notice a large bear coming after them. They were cornered and would have been eaten if it wasn’t for some quick thinking by one of the females who saved them with her katana. This sobered them, especially one of the males who looked confused and sat down, rocking back and forth for a while.
“C’mon Sam” The other male said “We should be going, or we’ll need a search party”
“I nedd. berr.” He said until he started mumbling randomly.
“Leave him,” The girl with the katana said “It looks like we are staying here for the night”
“Can we have a tent?!” The other girl said excitedly “It’ll be like camping but with more danger”
“If you can find a tent” She replied, looking around at the bare landscape

Up on the mountain they had been pacing away all their things and working out the best way to get back. PJ was arguing with Ennui, PJ wanted to just teleport home but Ennui thought it was wisest to stay as a group.
“But what if you all die?” PJ said “You’ll need someone to tell your story; you do want to be a legend, don’t you”
“We aren’t going to die” Amber said, from across the peak.
“Plus, you would take all the glory for yourself, wouldn’t you?” Ennui said.
“I… err… not really” PJ said quietly.
“Not really?” Ennui asked, “I presume you mean yes”
“Yeah.” PJ said sighing “But wouldn’t you do the same?” He looked around and asked the rest.
“No” Amber said
“Nope” Akbar said
“I wouldn’t” Derik agreed with Amber and Akbar
“I definitely wouldn’t” Dante said sternly
“I’d tell about all of you” Antenora nodded.
“And I know I wouldn’t” Ennui
“Anyway, we aren’t going to die” Amber repeated “Are we going to get going, then?
“Yeah, alright” Derik said
“Have we got everything? Remember most of us weren’t mean to be here” Dante asked looking at the empty space
“Do you want me to take everything back first?” Derik asked. “I can put invisible mode on so I’m not seen”
“Yeah, that’d be good. Then we wouldn’t have to carry all if this” Antenora said.
They all sat back down while Derik turned invisible to all of them but Dante and Antenora. He waved at them and walked over to the rock, picnic basket in hand and vanished from sight. He reappeared a few minutes later and took the next load. He took longer this time and the group started to worry. Dante and Antenora saw him reappear looking flustered. They expected the rest of the group to see him as he turn back to normal state. But by the little ‘i’ hovering above his left shoulder they saw that he was still invisible.
The ‘i’ was a recent addition to the invisible status. Previously moderators wouldn’t see the different in invisible and non invisible members and they would start talking to an invisible member. This caused much confusion, as normal members couldn’t see invisible members. It seemed like the moderators were going mad. There was a petition to get new, sane moderators but it was ignored. Tragedy said that someone had spiked the drinks of the moderators, making them see things, he then made it so that invisible members had a little ‘i’ hovering above their left shoulders.
Derik looked over at Antenora and Dante and put his finger over his mouth, signalling for them not to say he was there. He then crept over to PJ, who was sat looking bored. He then poked PJ’s face and PJ jumped.
“Who did that?” He said, looking suspiciously at the group.
“It wasn’t any of us.” Dante said, suppressing a grin.
When PJ looked away Antenora and Dante glanced at each other and the others saw they were stopping themselves from laughing. PJ got up and started beating up the air. Derik was safely out of the way and the group were shaking with laughter at PJ.
“I don’t know why you bully me like this” He said, shaking his fist at them
“It’s not bullying” Dante said.
“Yeah it is” PJ said, sulking again.
Derik walked quietly back to the point where the link was and Dante and Antenora saw the little ‘i’ disappear with a click.
“What took you so long?” Ennui asked.
“After leaving the first lot the people noticed that there was a random picnic basket in the kitchen and they were crowding about it. I couldn’t get rid of the chairs, in my castle so I dumped them in PJ’s hallway.” Derik explained
“Hey-” PJ said angrily.
“Anyway, we’ve caused quite a commotion.” Derik said “there are posters with pictures of us on, and search parties have been sent out to look for us.”
“It’s nice to know they missed us” PJ said, running his hand though his hair again. But, as his hair had got even more matted his hand got stuck again. He spent the next five minutes grimacing and trying to free it.
“We should get back, it’s chaos down there” Derik continued. “The buildings are still damaged from the storm, we could really help.”
“Here’s the bit where we decide if we are going to be good, and help the people or be corrupt and power hungry.” Ennui said.
“It’s tricky one” Dante agreed.
“How about we help them then become corrupt?” Amber asked
“Sounds like a good plan to me” Ennui said.
“Okay, let’s go” Antenora said “We should be quite quick, as we aren’t weighed down by all the stuff”
They hurried down the first part, which wasn’t steep at all. And then they found themselves on a narrow ledge and they had to shuffle along it single file Akbar lost his footing and he slipped, almost certainly to his death, had Derik not caught him. Akbar climbed back up and they continued down the mountain.
They next reached a field where the pylons had fallen over and had hit the fence. This made it impossible for them to get across the fence without electrocuting themselves. Amber hopped over the fence, as it didn’t affect her and she managed to divert the electric flow into herself while the others crossed the field, away from the danger. She then let the current go back into the fence and caught up with the group.
They walked on for about half an hour before they reached a river. On their way to the top of the mountain there was a bridge that they crossed but it had crumbled into the fast flowing water and had been carried out to sea. Ennui concentrated for a while and managed to stop the water from moving. He tested it with his foot and he saw that it held his weight. He was a bit wary as he stood on the water but relaxed when he didn’t fall. He dashed across the stream and invited the others to do the same. They were all a bit cautious as they tested the stream but they managed to all get across safely.
“Impressive” Dante commented
“Thanks” Ennui said, he clapped his hands and the water returned to its original state.
They had reached the bottom of the mountain when they came across a bear. It was curled up and it looked like it was in agony. It had cuts to its legs and face.
“It’s in a lot of pain” Akbar said “It was chasing a small group of people, it had been following them for some time and it had heard their plans. They were looking for us-” Akbar stopped.
“They were looking for us” He repeated.
“You’ve said that bit” PJ said impatiently.
“There must be something going on, we were only gone for a few days, if that” Akbar said.
Antenora was inspecting the bear and healing its wounds.
“These look like cuts Celinra would make” She said.
“We’ll have to come back for them later.” Ennui said. “We must let the island know we are okay.”
The bear was fully healed and it ran off into the trees as the group moved closer to home
They reached the edge of the island and stopped in their tracks.
“My Gods…” Dante whispered
The night sky was red with search beams, they couldn’t see the stars through the thick clouds that covered the island. Their home had been fenced in with barbed wire, there were small rectangular pieces of paper with their faces on floating about. Buildings that had been damaged from the storm had been left to ruin. Small clusters of members were running around with torches, shouting and screaming. Every few metres there was dead plants and members lay sick on the floor. Fires had been set and lit up the night sky like a twisted firework show. The seven had only been gone a few days but the island was in a state of chaos.

Cool ending. To the chapter, that is. Chaos is far more interesting than order, although it's also far more dangerous - although the latter is part of the reason for the former.

I liked the description of invisible mode, with the little floating "i", and Sam's dialougue. Cool chapter.
