BTW, if I double post to tell someone I've updated this, is it a bad thing? Will I get penalized? I believe I answered this in my PM, but why would anyone believe little ole' me? You can, just go for it, and if you get in trouble(which you wont), pin it on me. I like this, and I'm in it which makes it even better[/eg go] I'm trying to think of who it is... *walks off pondering* I was just double checking. I'm sorry for not PMing you about it being updated Celinra. Jeez, I forgot people in that update. Thanks to you all for your input. (:

OK, I'm following SF's advice, and just posting once agian. And now, the story.
"I don't like it" was all Akbar said as he stood facing the churning waters. "They can't help us." He turned his blade in his hand, each time turning into somethng more unusual than the last. Celinra was practicing with Bolvig, slicing the air with her katana and directing him with her other hand. "Snakes are useful." J. laughed. "All of them Incredibly Deadly Vipers no less." M. agreed. "Look at them. Harly reach from my elbow to my wrist. No muscle. As if that's any use." "They scare people" Celinra stated, stabbing her katana as she said scare. She did a half moon in the air. "They're cool." Akbar still sulked. "Peej, what do you think? Will these animals really be useful?" "Wha?" PJ had just woken up. "Oh, yeah, mmmmm, well, no. Dave could." "Dave is a spoon." "An exraordinary lightsaber spoon! What about Colin? He saves people too. Remember when Derik fell off of the cliff and Dave pointed the way and.... Oh, yeah, guess you do remember." Akbar was glaring at him.

I sooooooo did not finish that whole thing. And I'm not in trouble! Yay SnicketFace!!!!!!!!!!!! ANYWAYS, I've got more. PJ just stuck his tounge out at Akbar. "OK Le Grey, you think of someone else who could help." Akbar, who I only recently learned he preferred to be called Le Grey, looked up at the sky. "Ummmmmm, wait, let me think... um...." He started to pace. PJ raised his eyebrows. "See?" Le Grey just grunted. He hated it when that happened. "Come on slowpokes!" Pandora shouted. She was already at the boat, as were Amber and Ennui, who were having a stirring conversation about the phrase "All is Quiet Here" which was found inscribed on each of the boats. Dante, who preferred the other side of the schism, grumbled how the phrase "Fight Fire With Fire", his first alias, was much better to Antenora, who was absorbed in a thought about her next picture, which had come to her mind when she saw the Blue Lady's house.

Ok, I finally went back and found Alliance and read it, something I've been meaning to do for a while. Then I read all of this. Very, very good. I had a lot of favorite parts, but after a marathon read, they all sort of blended together and I can't remember where they were. I'm looking forward to another update.

Wow, and I actually was going to add you too, right before you posted. OK, since I don't want to do homework, I'll write this.
The house was old and beaten from the many winds that carresed and beat it. It did look somewhat nice, though. It had a rough-hewn elegance that made it seem almost perfect. Except for the silence. It was that silence that haunted the 667ers for years to come. It was not a normal silence. It was a silence of death. And then, a subtle sound reached some of the 667er's ears. A single squeak, though close to a chirp, echoed across the wooded area. They then heard soft singing. It was a pretty song, an old song from the world beyond, sung on an island in the midst of a sea. It went something like this:
"The waves are dancing, Merrily, playfully, Singing their song to me, "Turn ye to me".
The trees are swaying, peacefully, Singing through winds to me, "Turn ye to me".
Mine are the gifts of the land and the sea, Their trusting and peaceful songs beackon to me. I love thee Sister Sea, I love thee Brother Tree, Dance ye and sing to me, "Turn ye to me".
The earth, So beautiful, Sings its love song for us, "Turn ye to me".
I love your symphony, songs of the sea. I love your dance and song sweet Brother Tree.
Nothing you have to fear, I hear your song so clear, I can but shelter thee, Sweet sea and tree."*
Antenora looked around for the singer, but Sapphire found her first. She was huddled up in the crook of a tree, holding what looked like a small bundle of fur in her hand. A few tears leaked from her sea blue eyes. Sapphire was now kneeling next to her, telling her that it would be alright. Instead, the girl's voice shakily ran off saying "But its not just him. Its the silence. We need the music." She placed the small animal, which Antenora realized was Dismay's grey spotted gerbil, down on the ground. The girl pulled out a slender tin tube. She blew on one end, moving her fingers along the six holes, creating a haunting melody even the animals listened too. The girl looked down at her wistle after she played a bit. "I wish we could get over there now." Sapphire raised her eyebrows. "Who said we can't?" And with that, she ushered her friend into the closest boat as the rest got in as well. As they rowed, the whistle enchanted their way, playing a melody of new beginings, of a friend lost, and friends found. Dismay raised her head defiantly towards the house as she drew the whistle away from her lips. "We will not break" was all she said, in a small, almost fragile voice.

Linda was pacing. Now that she was placed in charge of The 667er, she didn't know what to do. She needed to do another interview. Unfortunently, she was running low on people. She needed more. SHe looked at Dupin. "Have I done you yet?" He nodded in reply. "Yep. I was the third one you did, I think." "Oh yeah. What about Red Fox?" "She's a spy." "OH. OH, come on, there has to be someone!" "What about Skunk?" "Good idea. He's not a spy. But what happenes if they find out?" A. held a finger up to her lips as she walked in. "Shhhhh! I just want you to know that Snicketface is gone. You're ion charge of the 667er. Linda rolled her eyes. "I know. Hey, you know, that raven looked like Sapphire's, yet it also had Izzybaudilare95 (izzy)'s mark. Who do you think sent it?" Dupin shrugged. "Who?" Linda wasn't so sure herself. All she knew was those two were the younger two thirds of the Alliance. "Well, Betsey wanted an interview, if she hasn't done one already. Oh, and so does Freshie. Well, I'd better leave you be. Oh, and did you hear about the 668 scandal? Its been all over the boards. OH, and we have a meeting at noon. Bring any news." A. walked out of the room, but then did a double take and came back. "Wait a sec, um guys, where's DDiscussion gone?"
DDiscussion was where may came and talked about thing that might not be well handled by less mature audiences, and mostly dealt with issues such as religion, war, the space-time continuoum, and much more. It was a hub for many of the members. And now it had dissappeared.

Fox glared at the DT. She hated him. Her read hair almost stood on end because of him. He first had his henchman create a copy of 667, a method of tearing the real one down, and just as evilly, started to torment the members with writings fortelling the Apocolypse, doom, damnation, and other things. It was not good for 667, yet they handeled it fairly well. They even had other members enter his copy and many of them were almost captured. But they far exceeded him in smarts, in some ways. Even before the disease had hit hard he tormented them, bringing the new 668 (now called 889) to their notice. And it was time. He had started to collect them again. And there was no Alliance to stop him. And he was glad. And Fox was not. The rebellion would be underway, and everyone needed to be trained. It would soon be ready, yet they were poorly armed as well. Though she thought she could take care of that.
* The song is a Scottish folk song Entitled "Turn Ye to Me". I'm singing it in my chorus concert on Thursday.

I also liked how you worked in recent events, although one small mistake. The copy of 667, was named 666 at first, not 668.
Keep updating regularly!

Quote form Snicketface: It makes me sad when people don't finish stories, or take a long time to update them, as I usually forget all that has happened in the story by the time they update it. Sorry about the whole not being regular thing, I haven't been on here in almost a week. I blame the school system. My mom might blame the fever and hip pain. I also blame short attention spans and lack of words, but, since nobody's home and I'm technically not sick, but injured, I'll continue this story today. Please excuse the errors in spelling. I've got a heightened internal temperature of unknown causes. Shall we begin? The boats and raft rocked gently as they reached the grey shore, scraping the sand gently, but loudly. A crow called out in the background. Antenora looked up into the sky, almost expectantly. She knew her crow's cry all to well. Krrrrraaaaah! Krakkkkkkahh! 'Nora! You travel too fast. Wings are getting tired here! Sillyhuman. Where cure, where cure? Kraaaaaaaaakkkkkk. A small hawk shot out of the sky, weaving through the low grass. "Lady Beatrice! You've come back! I sent her to Izzy, could it mean that she's here too?" Dismay looked at Sapphire. She then looked at the hawk. "Bea? Is she there?" The merlin landed on the girl's wrist. She then started to preen her mistress. Silly human. Doest thou not know? Thy friend has fallen under sickness, almost combating the lady in the house. She is at the door of 667, ending the final battle with the DT. Do not worry about thy 667 any longer.. Dismay used her free hand to scratch her chin, rubbing a scar from an old fall when she was fourteen. "The DT is being taken care of. It is now our job to take care of the lady." She looked at Antenora, who nodded, replying, "my crow told me that the cure for the lady is not a conventional cure. All it is, I still can't believe this, is to say her name, and to tell her to break the bond between her and the DT. What bond? Oh, this is annoying. This is like a Snicket book." She gasped. Ennui looked up, expecting just to see the house. But it was no ordinary house. It was a facsimile of the Baudelaire mansion. Out of all of Ennui's prolific vocabulary, all he could muster was "Amazing." They exited the craft, J. bearing an old blade of hers she had lost when she went from the old 667 to the new one, nicknamed "Walter". Only she and M. could control him. They both seemed to have regained something else too. A meercat and a coyote seemed to follow them around. And they were comfortable with them too. Dante also found a blade, with a pattern in it that looked like fire, moving as he moved it. "Firesong" he called it. He had made it in years past, but had lost it when traveling once to find more metals. A gift for a lifesaver avoice echoed in his mind. But he was no lifesaver, at least yet. Amber was pacing uncontrollably. Akbar was skowling at PJ, Derik was going through a bunch of excersized with Colin, and Pandora and Celinra were practising swordplay with Celinra's katana and a pike Pandora found. Dismay stroked her grey agouti gerbil and dug a hole in the sand. Antenora was having a conversation with her crow. Snicketface looked at Sapphire and Sapphire looked back. "CAN WE GO ALREADY?" Sapphire yelled. She ran towards the door, and everyone followed. - - - - - - - - izzybaudilaire95 stumbled through the camp where the DT's army stood. The DT was yelling at one of his accomplices, a really cool member no less, obvlivious to the battle raging around him. Arrows streamed from 667's many windows. A. weilded a crossbow, and Dupin weilded a longbow. lauren and Linda Rhaldeen used slingshots from the roof. The defectors from the DT's army, mostly from the painted ones, made the birds attack their bretheren, and used battle tactics from thier old home. But their competitors were gaining on them, building a battering ram. And it was almost complete. Izzy took a final step onto the small landing leading to the main door. With a strong voice, she yelled "STOP!!!!!!!!!!!" She then started to speak, starting to get louder and louder. "The illness will prevail, down with DT. Stop him or all shall be sick like me. I walked threough your camp. Surrender. Surrender." She coughed a feeble cough, her voice steadily growing softer. "I will be gone at the point the Lady has woken from illness. The DT shall be no more. And now, I wait." And so her final act was started, waiting to be fulfilled. This is a good stopping point. Maybe more later today, but I need to rest and get better.

Good job on writing more. Just before I got on today I was mourning all the unfinished and abandoned stories here, and so I was very glad to see an update. Very suspenseful and...just pretend I'm really good at giving compliments and just gave you one.

Yes, I did say that. I believe to Ennui, but I'm not completely sure, but that statement is completely true. I've had to re-read this story once, and will probably have to do it again. Nice entry, though, and thank-you for updating this. Get well soon.
