Hey guys, Songbird here reminding you that our book club book is Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. I only have four confirmed readers, not counting myself. If you are interested in participating, please post here to sign up, even if you already PMed me so that they're all in one place. If you don't have access to the book right now, it's okay. Discussions will only take place after all or most of us have posted here that we have finished the book. Hopefully that will be around mid July, but my copy hasn't gotten here yet. Also, I need a volunteer (hopefully someone in the US that can contact me on my cell) because my area has been experiencing a lot of power outages lately and I don't want to cancel this because of my internet not working. PM me if you are interested in this. I really hope more people will participate in this, considering how many members we have, and considering the fact that this site is based on a love of a book series, therefore it is fair to say it is based on a love of literature. I mean what have you got to lose?

Dear Dairy here, signing up! Who wants to join me?
(I'm finishing a mystery right now; less than 100 pages to go, so I should finish it today. Then I'll return it to the library and pick up Cloud Atlas.)

I haven't said anything during your other discussion, but I was following it. I got a copy from the library and will get started on it this week.

I just checked the public library's website and this book is currently on the shelf. Sometime in the next couple of days I'll go and get it, so count me in.

How will we work the discussion? Just all in one thread, or some kind of section in Leering Literature? How soon can we start posting threads?

Wow. This one's a slow starter. I can only manage a few pages at a time. I've only read 20 pages since yesterday. I haven't devoted that much time to it, though.
