According to the Wikipedia:
*Spanish: VFD *Polish: WZS *Italian: VF
It's also said in Wikipedia that the VFD stuff are not translated to VFD. Like in Portuguese, the translator worked a lot to find words that matched with CSC, but the Spanish translator just translated it.

Oh great, I hadn't seen those on the page. Thanks, Arthur.

Yes, thank you, that is helpful - but I find it sad. It would mean a lot of passages don't make sense - where they are trying to work out what VFD stands for, or where, in TSS, they are using phrases which begin with 'VFD' as a code.

Yeah, it makes the Spanish guy don't see what made Q.Q. understand the code. But I'm not sure if the translator translated this part of the book without maching the words with VFD - it would have no sense to the reader. EDIT: I've tried to draw the CSC eye, but it's not so good. The VFD eye is angry, but the CSC one is not. Well, take a look at it.

That's pretty good. Considering what you had to work with, I think that's very close to the original.

It's P.K.S in Indonesian language... (the difference is pretty much, right?) I've no idea if these three letters can form an eye insignia.

I imagine the P would be the pupil, the K would be the eyelashes and the S would be...wrinkles? I don't know lol

Russian: Г. П. В. ( These are letters of Russian alphabet).

That certainly gives the name an entirely different character. In more ways than one. That's really quite intriguing; what kind of insignia could one draw from those?

Well, Volunteer Fire Department is pretty tough to translate to Filipino. The best thing I can come up with is "Departamento ng Boluntaryong Bumbero". I know, it sounds corny. :)) But, I took the liberty to create an insignia with an uppercase D (D) and two lowercase B (b). A lowercase B inside another lowercase B inside an uppercase D:

Those are pretty satisfying, kimoz17, considering what we have to work with. Although the true challenge is to make the letters also read in the correct order from left to right...

Some have protested the V.F.D. logo found in the UA doesn't actually resemble an eye as one usually pictures. Even in TCC, Helquist was forced to add extra lines and curves to make the final image realistically disguised. So, some sacrifices are expected.
