The page isn't redirecting for me. I like the website - it's quirky, and nicely designed. Admittly the interactive map was a let down and the site glitches, but on the bright side, the character guide will be something to look forward to.

I'm also anticipating the book trailer in September.

Certainly there's still plenty left to look forward to. I wonder, though, when or if this site will filter through the other domains? Having four different websites seems awfully unorganized not to mention unmanageable. Plus, they have a sign-up at LSL.com, making LSATWQ and others somewhat obsolete.

I think maybe they didn't know what web address they were going to use, so they registered a few and then settled on this one. Although the others should all redirect here, too, but I really don't regard the site as finished. Good point, I'd forgotten that there was meant to be a character guide, although there's no sign of that being added at present - there isn't any slot for it. Hopefully the book trailer won't be as terrible as most book trailers are.

www.lsatwq.com is now redirecting to the website. Were there any other domain names and do they redirect here? They must be wanting people to visit the website, because anyone who hasn't seen the attaché case doesn't know about lemonysnicketlibrary. Hopefully they will put up some new content soon.

I guess that redirect makes sense because LemonySnicketLibrary.com has its own sign-up page, making LSATWQ redundant.
Speaking of which, we might look out for a Snicketmail this week because it's been almost three weeks since the last.

Were those ever actual domain names though, or just speculation? "And a toothbrush" came on June 28th at 3.29pm (gmt), which is nineteen days ago- almost three weeks, as Antenora said. "Stormy weather" came on June fourteenth, fourteen days previously. "Keep your eyes on the road" came on May 29th which was sixteen days before. The promotions go back roughly every two weeks. There isn't really much of a pattern, but if we don't receive one this week could we speculate there is going to be a change in pattern, like what happened after the "What?" promtion?

Were those ever actual domain names though, or just speculation? They were registered by Hachette in the same way as lemonysnicketlibrary.com and lsatwq.com.

That may just be to stop others using them - or, in the case of lemonysnicketbooks, they may be planning a different site, in the long term when they have other books by LS.

I was going to say "maybe that's the case, but then why grab AllTheWrongQuestionsSeries.com instead of AllTheWrongQuestions.com?", but then I tried the latter and got a separate Snicket sign-up page. Strange that it wasn't registered by Hachette, so I looked it up - registered by Egmont. It's a separate sign-up list to Hachette's, too. So Egmont are actually doing something!

I entered my email for that one, and they asked me to verify it in the link sent in a confirmation email. The Hachette signup didn't do that, if I remember correctly. I wonder if Egmont is eventually planning on opening a website of their own?

That was the case for the ASOUE books, but I'm not sure we can expect another at this point. Edit: By that I mean I do suspect there will eventually be a separate website - in fact with the various Hatchette domains it's possible one already exists - but not immediately. Dante, may I ask from where have you been gathering the register of Hatchette/Egmont addresses? Maybe other domains could be found there. I wonder if Hatchette and Egmont have been following the same schedule for Snicketmail, or if Egmont is going by their own agenda? I imagine the teasers would be the same, but released at what intervals?

Dante, may I ask from where have you been gathering the register of Hatchette/Egmont addresses? Maybe other domains could be found there. If you Google "domain lookup" or anything like that, you'll get a site you can plug URLs into. Although, it's strange; for the Hachette ones, I found a site quite easily which would show me all the others registered by the same company, but I can't find it now. It's most odd. I can't imagine that Egmont intends to follow exactly the same schedule, for the simple reason that they didn't register the website until March and haven't advertised it anywhere. So they haven't been sending e-mails already, and if they begin, they'll all be outdated and would run up against the final release date. So if they intend to send Snicketmails, I think they must have a different sort of character. Looking at Egmont's past promotional efforts, they generally don't extend themselves as much as their American counterparts, so I wouldn't expect much.
