Hey 667ers, I am looking for some help from anyone who's creative/handy with costumes/has any ideas at all. This Halloween, I'm planning on dressing up as Misty while my young man will don a Staryu costume. The Misty one is pretty straightforward, but does anybody have any suggestions for how to translate this: into a costume? I'm thinking unitard + Staryu headpiece but am open to other suggestions. I'm not really sure yet what materials would be best to use for this sort of thing. Probably some sort of foam. Also, if anyone needs suggestions/opinions/whatever for their own Halloween costumes, we should just turn this into an all-purpose thread like that.

I'll be wearing my work uniform costume. Because I'll be at work.

It's a five-pointed star, so it could be the head and legs and arms, a shape like Patrick from Spongebob with the thing in the middle on the stomach. But I don't really know how to make the arms and legs, so maybe your idea is better.

Using a unitard sounds good if you can find one in the right color. Then for the center you could use a belt and shoulder straps to secure half a yellow ball (cut an inexpensive rubber sphere in half to give the costume a three-dimensional edge) and a red light (such as the ones sold for safety trick-or-treating, which can be hot glued to the yellow).

Oh man why didn't I think of that? Just a big horrible fleece onesie with a hood and wings.

Psy Yai Yai! But I think something like a Maggie Simpson style onesie snowsuit would work too.

While the Maggie Simpson onesie is a cool idea, we realized that a Staryu headpiece is the way to go, because it leaves room for there to be a Poké Ball codpiece and maybe some flashing lights.
And don't you worry, Sixteen, I do intend to take pictures.
