Basically, first procedure when we get our hands on the books is to immediately photograph/scan them from every angle and post the pictures on 667. Official moderator mandate.

The back cover will fully decide my thoughts on this cover.
Though, it'll probably just be that same green clour, with an image of the statue or something

The statue's on the spine, so I suspect they won't double up. Given that they've already used quite a few pieces of Seth's cover art for the U.S. edition chopped up and rearranged, I suspect it'll be more of that in some arrangement or other. Probably with the some back cover text as the U.S. edition, too, but in a different format. If I see it online I'll bring it straight here, but these days we seem to rarely get U.S. back cover art online, let alone U.K. I'll probably have to wait until the 23rd.
Edit: Also, that shade of green is a lot more flattering on the photograph. Neither of the covers look quite their best online.

Just got a nice, high-resolution version of the cover from Egmont. Good of them to send it; granted, I asked back in September and they've only just gotten back to me... (Hopefully this won't be an issue with future books in the series, and they won't be proliferating draft art all over the place.)

Except that cover is almost yellow. The green is a lot more lime looking when you're holding the physical thing.

I imagine it's a bit like the gold band on the U.S. cover - looks kinda brown when digital and the digital quality doesn't reflect the print quality.
