A compelling theory, Terry Craig; I hope that you're right, as each book having its own colour is something I very much desire.

I wonder if this also relates to the color of the statue in the first Snicketmail, which resembled that shade of green, and was the only image that didn't follow the blue pattern (besides "Who is Ellington Feint?").

I'm calling it: the colour for the next book will be sea-weedish green (well, or alternately dark reddish brown or dark grey, but I think the colours get darker as the series progresses). That's a very interesting theory!

Just to note that the opening letter that first appears when you enter LemonySnicketLibrary.com has been updated to acknowledge the forthcoming review of ?2. No further changes are evident (for instance, they haven't corrected the fact that the Books section numbers both the first and second book as "1").
Also, I never noticed before that one of the Sally Murphys in the Warhol-style image in the Question Mark section was actually emerging from the frame below rather than from her own backdrop.

Does anyone know if there's an image version of Prosper Lost reading (above 'who is that')? I want to put it in the gif thread.

No, that's always been like that. I remember because it struck me as curious as well. I thought it was gonna be a game or something.

While that still hasn't been fixed, there is one further change on the ? page; the ?2 promotional video was added, and the ATWQ emblem has been modified to feature ?2.

I also just noticed that the formerly empty frames of the old LSL homepage have been filled, or changed. Then: Now:

I had an inkling that there'd been a change. That page is much more octopus-centric now, whereas before it was... not quite an overview, but it linked in to other pages.

I had an inkling that there'd been a change. A fitting pun indeed. I wondered if the second installment would focus more on the octopi. But I sense, given the spines of the Egmont editions and the endpages of WCTBATH, that octopi are to feature prominently in the series as a whole anyway. Edit: It appears they've lost Twitter followers, too ...?

I don't even know why they registered a Twitter account. They've never used it or even adorned the profile.

Oh and the tvtrains gif is in negative colors as you may have noticed. The picture of the tv sets is taken from here. Now if someone could find out where those trains come from... or what they mean. I don't know if you've already found out, but the trains are from the cartoon Play Safe. www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1BccGi16zc

No, I haven't, this is really cool! Fleischer cartoons are great. I love how the ending of this one plays out. I also like how the song at the beginning of it and then later when the trains show up warns the listener from peril and to beware and "play it safe," that is definitely Snickety!
