Squirrels. I was drinking iced tea out front of my grandma's house with her the other day and this squirrel on a tree kept barking and staring at us. She stomped her foot and tried to scare it and it's barking just got higher pitched. It was terrifying so I made her come inside with me and we went out back instead.
i was bit by a squirrel once and it was not fun.

I'm not really scared of any animals but I'm sure that if a rhino or something was charging at me I'd be a little frightened.
Also I can't stand cats but that's because they're horrible, not because they're scary.

unhygienic and stupid and often too big. some can be cute, but that's not redeeming enough to make them worth it. Pretty much all animals are "unhygienic." Intelligence is a matter of perspective. Stupider than humans? Maybe. Stupider than bears? I think so. Stupider than cats? No. More intelligent than rabbits, mice or a canary bird? Very much so. Size is arguable as well. I wouldn't call horses too big for a barn, but for a house. Some dogs may be too big for an apartment, but not a house. I'm not a fan of the little and "cute" ones, because they usually bark a lot and are annoying. I probably prefer cats to those kinds of dogs. But when it comes down to it, many dogs will protect you when you're out and about somewhere, and your home as well. Hamsters or cats won't. Also, a dog's love is something beautiful and I feel sorry for anyone not having had the chance to experience it. I'm afraid of spiders and insects larger than a thumbnail. Including the harmless ones which would make that an irrational fear. My rational fear is of humans of course.

Also I can't stand cats but that's because they're horrible, not because they're scary. They aren't! For me the cuteness of dogs has nothing to do with their size, I only like dogs when their hair is long and their face doesn't look like they have just run into something, and they aren't black and don't bark too much.

True, I guess I just meant other pets. Oh God, I remember those when I was in Brazil. That's something I didn't like about my stay there. I remember New York also having many cockroaches, but not flying ones. There was this one lady in Rio De Janeiro who had a big fancy hairdo and one time one of these roaches flew right into it and got caught in the hair.

Urgh, flying roaches sound terrible. I've never even seen a cockroach, and I think I never want to see one.

I held a cockroach when I was 10 years old and the bug man came to our primary school. It tickled.

Some dogs scare me, the big scary ones, but not all dogs. Come to think of it, I'm not really afraid of any other animals that I would come into contact with on a daily basis. Snakes, mice, etc. I don't even bat an eye at, and I am notoriously un-afraid of bugs and spiders; my female friends know I'm their go-to person if there's a bug they're too afraid to kill. My male ones too, but they're probably more afraid of asking a girl for help than they are of the bugs.
