Here's a piece of news which may affect where U.S. purchasers obtain their copy of ?2: www.barnesandnoble.com/w/when-did-you-see-her-last-lemony-snicket/1114733638Barnes & Noble will be selling a B&N exclusive edition including a "Suspicious Incident" as bonus material. It's unclear at present if any other retailers, including those in the U.K., will be getting an equivalent. The "Suspicious Incident" mentioned is almost certainly a preview/sample chapter from File Under: Suspicious Incidents, the ATWQ supplementary volume being released next April. 667 will be doing its best to share this information.

I am purchasing my copy at Barnes & Noble this year, so this is a nice surprise. (I do hope the sticker is removable, though. It covers an entire panel of illustration!)

I'll have to import a copy, but that will be just for my collection - I dare say we won't have to wait that long to find out what the non-B&N purchasers are missing.

(I do hope the sticker is removable, though. It covers an entire panel of illustration!) I think that was the whole point, to cover up that certain panel of illustration. Probably because it's something important to the plot.

I really don't think B&N took it upon themselves to insert a miniature spoiler tag for something on the front cover of a book. The top-right corner is just where such stickers nearly always go. If they specifically wanted to cover that panel, I'd have expected it to be rectangular.

Plus we already know what's under it.
