Sorry but for each of the books in the series I've only read them all once so far. So my memory with certain plot-points in the books might be a little bit hazy. But what happened to Sally Murphy ("Murphy Sallis") at the end of the first book? How are Cleo Knights parents, and Zora and Zada up to now, now that Dr. Flammarion has supposedly been arrested with Nurse Dander? And speaking of Flammarion and Dander, were they really arrested? Or will we perhaps see them again in the up coming last book?

Hmm. One would think that after the tragic events that befell her in ?1, Dane Sally Murphy would have fled in car or on train to the city, where I'm sure she had housing of acting or something to live with. As for the Knights, one would think that they too would have moved to the city. But would they really go without their precious daughter? As for the Villians, it is likely that they escaped from the cell of the kind-hearted-but-not-too-sharp-and-also-quite-dysfunctional officers Mitchum. I bet that they will make appearances.

This is something of an awkward time to post a thread like this, given that some people have read the fourth book. It can't be helped, but I am officially designating this a NO SPOILER thread. If you want to talk about characters after ?4, please start a different thread.
Anyway. Sally Murphy is mentioned again in File Under, which indicates that she's still in town and keeping herself to herself. We know that the Knight parents, and thus Zada and Zora, moved out of town during ?2, so they simply aren't around and are probably setting up shop somewhere else in the world - perhaps a suitably spacious apartment at 667 Dark Avenue? As for Flammarion and Dander, we hear neither hide nor hair of them in ?3, which indicates that they're simply not players any more, so at the very least we can be reasonably sure they didn't escape from their arrest.

Oh sorry. Since the fourth book doesn't get released in my area until the 29th, I don't know much about the fourth book. And honestly I wasn't aware that other people had already read the fourth book yet, so this thread was mostly started for speculation and theories only.

That's fine, don't worry about it. I hope other people will come in and express their views, both before and after September 29th.
