Do any original elements from your draft scripts for the ASoUE movie return in your scripts for the Netflix series? Could you tell us about any ideas which aren't returning?
(Inspired by a discussion in AAdaptations.)

Oh, God! I almost forgot to ask the question I've been holding on all these years! Did you canonically write the following promotional materials or are they authored by your publishers? - The Dismal Dinner
- A Calendar of Unfortunate Events (2004)
- A Calendar of Unfortunate Events (2005)
- Horseradish: Bitter Truths You Can't Avoid
- The Puzzling Puzzles
- 13 Shocking Secrets you’ll wish you never knew about Lemony Snicket

what in Horseradish could have possibly been written by a publisher?

I meant the introduction to "Horseradish". But yeah, most of it is made of quotes from the series itself.

I think you could probably stand to knock the last three items off your list, but I appreciate that you want to be very sure. (The entire text of Horseradish and The Puzzling Puzzles is copyrighted to Snicket on the copyright pages of those two books, whilst 13 Shocking Secrets isn't written from Snicket's perspective and nowhere claims to be written by him.)

I'll let the Admins edit my question to their preference. I wanted to ask the question because some semi-canonical information (such as Kit and Jacques being twins) does depend upon it. But we're pretty safe if we exclude "Horseradish" from the list, I suppose.

Optional non-LS specific question I'd just like to point out that although the majority of questions we've had so far are related to Snicket's works, everyone is more then welcome to submit unrelated questions (and I would encourage it). Like this; If you had to lose a limb which one would it be? Please can I have a selfie of you with Neil Patrick Harris in his Olaf get-up? I run a pet shop. If you have pets, which brands are you feeding them? I'm sure I could do you a good deal on some quality food!

HermesHey! What's up!? I think we should ask him a simple "How are you today? I hope your day is going well". He might appreciate that.

What, in your mind, makes a piece of writing terribly wonderful or wonderfully terrible?

Well, it contains a few things that might be significant clues; I think it's at least as important as The Dismal Dinner, for instance. But more generally it would be interesting to know how hands-on DH is in the promotional process.
Groge: nmu, as our dear leader would say. Life is OK here - hope it is with you as well.
