you'll hate to hear this, but - not really. it's annoying, because i know exactly the direction the story would've taken, almost beat for beat - but i just don't have the time/energy to write an entire screenplay, *but* i also feel like dropping a story outline and jumping ship would be stupid after almost three years of work, off and on. i'd be interested to hear where you think the future of this project should go, Optimism is my Phil-osophy. i'd be interested to hear anybody's opinions honestly

Exactly. I'm sorry if I pressured you, I didn't mean to. I thought I was writing personally and not sharing progress. But take your time, and write when you feel good about it. And one suggestion is to write little by little right here on Dark Avenue, without worrying so much about quality or size. Then you will have the opportunity to review.
I wrote the entire The Litory Intelligences here (more than 500 pages in my physical book), that's because when I write here, I know there will be people interested in reading and commenting. Dante was the person who did this to me while I was writing, and it gave me the energy I needed. The same thing happened when I wrote Untie My Silence Knot. I find it easier to write with a single person or a small group of people in mind, rather than for a hypothetical audience. And what's more, without the pressure of "getting it right the first time".
But talking about another subject... It would be interesting if your script could one day serve as the basis for a musical... I think the 2004 film has great potential to be adapted into a musical, but it still suffers from some problems that I believe I can correct your script. (I wonder, though, how we would go about getting Sunny into a musical). I'm just imagining...
