then i yelled at her because she had it on her right ankle.
i can't find a pic of it but it's the one when they show count olaf's ankle in the movie and it's got the tatto on it.

Good thing it was only a fake tattoo. Imagine her horror if she had a real, permanent tattoo put on the WRONG ankle!
(I know somebody who is such a devoted fan of ASOUE that he does have a real tattoo on his ankle.)

Isadora, I actually think the tattoo your friend had and the one on Jim's ankle are different. Unless there's a new one I haven't seen, the temporary tattoo that was given out to promote the film is the eye from the film logo, which is considerably different than the one in the actual film. Is this it?...

It was just wanted it somewhere people would see, without me having to show any more skin that I normally do and the wrist seemed like a appropriate place Since I'm a punker, most people think its just some gothy tattoo, but I,and the few other special people in this world, know what it really means...

I just have to comment on this - it's very interesting.
So people who have got the eye tattoo have been putting on their wrist? That's weird. Because: If you've ever been to the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C., in the debriefing video you see at the beginning of the tour there's a motif type thing going on in the backround as you hear the words, and it's all these spies, and you can tell they are spies because they all have a tattoo: an eye, on their wrist. When I saw it I of course thought of VFD right away, but it was an on their WRISTS, so I just waved it away. And now I hear this! It's freaky, and extremely amusing.

And yes, including the poster above, I've known of three ASOUE fans who tattooed an eye on their wrists instead of ankle.

I thought the tattoo at the Spy Museum was a tribal sun thing? I dunno. Anyway. Sorry about the low quality, but beggars can't be choosers: I tried to recreate it (counted the lashes as best I could, and everything): Of course it looks kind of like I did it in two seconds with crayon.

I should get an eye tattoo when I'm old enough. Not just because of aSoUE, but because I'm a nut who's obsessed with eyes.

I got some of those tatoos on e-bay. It would be good to use for a costume or just to look cool and show off your ASOUE pride
