Weird Ships Week was a week where everybody would write stories featuring a weird ship. A weird ship is a relationship which is weird. e.g. Fernald and Olaf.

How did you guess?! Sorry to shatter your fancies, but I'm not DH in disguise, although I agree that that would be awesome. (That's funny, when I showed the forum to my little brother he was convinced Dante was DH in disguise.) You know, now that you mention it, Dante very well could be DH in disguise. Hmmmmmm.... Let's track him down and make him confess! >=D We don't need to worry about that, FD. I think Sherry Ann was talking about impersonating other DA members, which would mean there would be no shortage. Although there would be the problem of everyone impersonating the same member.

That is most interesting. I never considered that, because I unconsciously assumed that because Wagner was in Germany and Charles Baudelaire was in France they didn't meet.

Another idea, - we could have contest to see who could create a new skin with a theme of '667 10 years' or 'ATWQ'. And then we could have that new skin for a week. I understand, I was never a lurker - I just jumped right in. Maybe Kensicle is DH in disguise, trying to befriend people and gather information LOL!!!! Omg that would be AWESOME! Unlikely but very very awesome. How did you guess?! Sorry to shatter your fancies, but I'm not DH in disguise, although I agree that that would be awesome. (That's funny, when I showed the forum to my little brother he was convinced Dante was DH in disguise.)

I'm getting the feeling that there is no link between the text, question and picture in this particular teaser. They probably threw them together to puzzle us. (In that case we should concentrate more on the individual elements.)
No one's pointed that out yet, but I feel that the shape of the tail is more a stylistic representation rather than a question mark.
By the way, welcome to 667 Dark Avenue, Ziggy!
EDIT: The lightning strikes around the dragon/leech/seahorse and something about its face seem to indicate that the creature is surprised, which brings to mind the octopus. Its surprise could also be from hearing the dialogue in the teaser, as if it has just asked, "Pressure?".
Edit again: Completely disproving my point about the elements in the teaser being unrelated, you could link together the text and the question by imagining the people who are speaking the dialogue are going to go as deep as they can until they hear the bell ring. But then the picture doesn't fit in.

A special edition of the 667er? YES. Definitely. A jumbo version. That would be awesome. And everyone would contribute, with articles, pictures, short stories and things. Or we could just base it off the old 667er, e.g. Rant, Unadvice Column, Subjective Flaneur, etc. *gets excited*

Yes, it is.
Today I was looking for J. S. Bach's entry at the index of a thick music book and found Charles Baudelaire. I wonder what he has got to do with music. (Probably someone set his poems to music.

I found the interview where that was mentioned. www.tor.com/blogs/2009/11/garth-nix-interviewHere's the relevant quote: I agonized over the cliff-hanger ending of Superior Saturday and in fact for a while it had the first chapter of Lord Sunday appended as the end, but this introduced another cliff-hanger and was going to be a problem structurally for the seventh book, so in the end my editor and I agreed to go with the cliff-hanger and hope readers would forgive me when they got to Lord Sunday.

Garth Nix had trouble dividing SS and LS, even considered putting it in one volume called "The Weekend". Originally, the first chapter of LS was drafted as the last chapter of SS. I guess that early cover was based on that draft.

Gigi's awesome. Pity she doesn't post anymore. So basically it was just a pot-luck contest that made ADR admin? But there was a mention of ADR guessing Trag's password. I'm confused.
I can just imagine a bunch of cartoon characters fighting each other with exaggerated kung fu moves and death-defying stunts.

Kensicle, are you an old member that's joined the forums again? Yes, I am. Hehe... ;D No, just kidding, I just lurked around the old threads a lot.
