If Olivia is the "new librarian character" with a season long arc then I think they are reworking her narrative to make her character make more since. The way she apparently kept track of the orphans in the books seemed a little far fetched.

Candid interviews like this means the production is entering it's promotion phase. It played out the same way for season one - a few interviews detailing things abut the show trickled in with increasing frequency until a trailer dropped.

There is nothing in the book series that suggests that a live- action adaption should be Gothic. I'm assuming the culprit here isn't the books but the film super imposing it's interpretation into popular head canon. The books themselves are very quirky and absurdist and anachronistic ( jumping from contemporary to period). The Netflix series, much to the tangerine of everyone's nostalgia fogged glasses, is very in-sync with the book series.

Nothing important, but anything is news when nothing is happening. I'll take these bread crumbs and cherish them.

This is the last month for filming season 2, presumably. We've reached a milestone. After this we have approximately 6 months of post production.
Fingers crossed for at least a small teaser this month or next.

I appreciate you posting it here, since I've never ventured anywhere else on this forum. I signed up because I wanted to discuss the upcoming show on netflix and I've only ever posted and ventured in this section.

It likely that the tiny gasses was another cartoonish description that only works on paper or would work if this show was animated instead of live-action , much like sir's smoke.

I think she is beautiful as well. An unconventional beauty.

The call to miserable mill was Poe not the Quagmires. Unless there was another phone call I am missing.
The calls seem to be more them trying to get in touch with their peers as they had just gone through quite an ordeal and were on high alert.
In typical ASOUE absurdist fashion, the calls coincidentally coincided with where the Baudelaire were thus creating a twist to play off of.

I love change so these don't bother me, but I highly doubt the original covers are going anywhere. They are still currently being sold, from what I can tell these covers are only for the hard covers.

I, aside from the Reptile Room, love them. TRR just seems a bit poorly executed, but the rest are very interesting to look at.
