I figured this should be in MM, as it's more than news. Some New Orleian 667rs could be in danger/hurt from the hurricane.
All I have to say is good luck, y'all.
(Stiky? Announcment? kplzthnx)

I don't think anyone here does live where Katrina is gonna hit. correct me if I'm wrong though
But it's still horrible for the people who do live there. Hope that they all got out safely, and for those who can't evacuate, hope that they're going to be ok where they are.

Aimee's in Florida at the moment, but in the Orange County, thankfully.

Where I live is covered by the "Katrina Projected Path" title thingy. We're supposed to get it here by Thursday, though.
Stupid hurricanes.

once it hits land though, it'll probably drop to a catergory 3 or 4. or even lower. I dunno. it'll weaken.

I just saw on the news now that it already is down to Category 2. Inland will mainly get just rain.
(God be with the folks down there.)

Last I heard, it's down to a catergory 1, but there are a bunch of tornado warnings in Georgia and Alabama

Good luck, if anyone who lives in the projected path is reading this. I am bothered by all the hurricanes. Simply because my brother is obsessed with them.

I recommend everyone go here and watch the "Hurricane Katrina Special Report" (click on the bottom half of the main picture to get to it). However, there is quite a bit of swearing, so obviously, it may not be parent friendly. I think it makes some good points, though.

On weather.com they show some really disturbing clips of the hurricane, and on the TV they keep showing that man and his two sons whose house split in two and who lost his wife. That is so sad. I think my family is donating money and stocks or bonds or something through my school.

The worst thing that could happen is that is goes back out to sea, builds, then returns. This hurricane is quite a serious issue. I heard that the New Orleans are already calling it their take of the tsunami.
