Okay... I got lost somewhere along the way with the Canuck thing going on... however I think it probably proved how cool and random Kobolos is and how much effort he puts into his posts... definitely moderator worthy (I'm completely in agreement with the quality vs quantity thing: he may not have 2000-some posts but they're all good ones)... I hope you value that support despite my Canadianity...
I'm so confused about this Kobo/Swans thing... I'm not even going to ask... Maybe one of you should write a hand-book or something so the rest of us could follow...

Don't pick Kobolos.
1) He's over qualified.
2) He does put a lot of effort into his posts- has three hours to write mini-essays on each topic every day. But moderating really shouldn't have that much effort put into it. The literature section doesn't really need a lot of baby-sitting. A too-active moderator can spoil the fun by getting all nazi-ish about every little thing that's a bit off topic or doesn't initially seem to make sense.
3) He's a grown-up, a widower even (or maybe divorcee, I'm still a bit confused about the whole thing.) They instinctively tell teenagers what to do. If you give him a bit of power he might be running the whole board before long.
4) He thinks of himself as above authority- look how he behaved during his wife's murder investigation. Fleeing the country and coming back in disguise while alluding authority- if he had nothing to hide he would've turned himself over to the cops like a decent citizen.
Edit: I think that picture was doctored- Mr. Goblin wouldn't be caught dead in a t-shirt. He's too stylish.

Oh how the mice have played...I spend one evening at a fund raising dinner and they take their swipes...in the words of the Poet Samuel L. Jackson "Well allow me to retort!" So remember...the CANUCKs will stop at nothing to take control of this fine board...only Tragedy can prevent that from happening...I trust him to make the right decision...for 667....for America...and for the world.

So much for fair and balanced reporting... "Matt Kobolos" indeed.... I was born Isadore Aristo Melanctan Kobolos, everyone knows that. Here is my current ID...I have NOTHING to hide. :  What Swans would lead you to believe is the sad state of reporting in old Mexico... I do have a friend that raises goats there...his name is Ted.  Here is Ted with one of his charges...note the tenderness he conveys to this young goat...sheep...whatever it is....the point is this...not only is Swans a racist against Goblins, but also it seems Satyrs...should I just buy you a hood Swans? Besides...you weren't complaining about my claws before... I won't even get into the fact that Ice3 is called that because indeed, they did Ice three people of various influence...pictures will be forthcoming when I deem the time right... in the meantime, enjoy my new campaign picture.....  |
