I lurked for a long time, which is why I know most of the older members, but they don't know me. Lurking was a lot of fun. I finally joined when I had discovered something about Beatrice that I wanted to post. I can't even remember the theory anymore.

I created an account, then lurked for several months (I believe I only started posting the beginning of March this year...), then finally started posting. And then posting more.

I lurked for a while and got to know some members, like Orangey said. I liked to lurk but I realised I'd prefer to add my own opinions and have people agree with me.

I lurked a few minutes while I browsed around the site, but then I really wanted to reply to this one thread so I made an account. Yay.

I lurked for about 5 month, then joined in September, 2004. Obviously, by my small post count, I still lurk more than I post. Yes, I have been here a year, and am still surprised by how much I can remember. I remember when Dante (then called FFWF) had few posts. I also remember a member called Tocuna V.F. Dante at one point (was that Antenora? ), and remember swans posting in several places. I am old.

I lurked for about a week. I wasn't really familiar with message-boards back then, so this was all new to me.

Yeah, I joined instantly, forgot about it, and then properly started a few weeks later.
