Wow....I didn't know there were different accents within America. I really need to listen more on movies. I guess I have an NZ accent. However, like everyone else, I am going to say that I am the one without the accent and all of you do have one. fush and chups? and you say you have no accent

I've been told by a semi-famous anime dub voice actor (Jamie McGonigal, though I probably butchered the spelling) that I have a Minnesota accent, despite the fact I'm from NY state.

Northern people have an accent. I tend to talk like a valley girl which is quite obvious if you read the way I type. So when I went to Canada they thought I was from California, and that's usually the first reaction I get. But if I talk to them for more than five minutes they'll notice a twang, that I say ya'll, fixing to etc. I can't sing very well but I could manage to sing a country song, and actually sound country. I like to talk like an old southern belle, and that's really the only other accent I can pull off. I really want to talk like a cajun though. New Jersey girls don't have accents and we're from the north!!! The New Jersey accent is a myth. Maybe 2 people in all of New Jersey have it. Or at least in central New Jersey.

For a while, I had a southern accent, because a church youth group from Charlotte, NC, came up and worked with our church youth group doing missions stuff at the major city near here. So, we all just stayed at the church for a week. So, almost all I heard for that week was southern accents, so during that time I kinda slipped into it a lot, without realizing it.

You know what? I think I MIGHT have a British accent. You'll never believe why.

We don't speak like the Londoners. We say "aye" and other slang stuff.
I don't though, because I think it sounds crap.

Saying 'aye' rocks! I say yes. Or yeah. Or something to that extent.
