I didn't know we were supposed to say "aboot".. I always thought "aboot" was an American thing...

all of my dad's canadian friends say that. they are from ontario. where are you from?

im from new jersey. thats why i dont have a canadian accent!! my dad just has a lot of canadian friends who have it and i love it and i can talk with one!! ;D

my dad said that the most likely reason why you canadians don't know of the accent is because of television. we all watch the same television and people on television dont have those beauteous accents!! therefore, canadians of our time don't have it!

what makes you have an accent is the different people listening to it that arent used to it.

im not sure what kind of accent i have, i got complimented on it in colorado once. i guess oklahoman accents, unlike texan accents, are awesome.
